What do you think guys?
I think someone there loves star wars :), on serious note i have couple of concerns regarding energy sources, range and cost/efficiency ratios. If all tnose are well balanced and solved this could be another milestone into futurustic defence setups.

Perfect. Needs to be deployed as soon as it is available to protect bases in Iraq against small drones.

The addition of a stronger 300kw Laser System would be ideal for our layered AD too. Especially useful against Cruise Missiles.

Lasers actually offer a better cost/efficiency trade-off than conventional AA when it comes to UAV threats, which is what I think TAF would be most concerned about nowadays.
