New kamikaze UAV study from STM: KARGU-3

"It is planned to make KARGU lighter and increase its airtime in the third generation. In the shared information, it was stated that KARGU-2 will have a stay in the air for 25 minutes with a weight of 7.5 kg, while KARGU-3 will have a stay in the air for 40 minutes with a weight of 6.5 kg.

According to the information shared in 2023, the KARGU kamikaze UAV, whose production number exceeded three thousand and was exported to 10 countries, was used by Azerbaijan and Turkey in active conflict areas. As a system that has proven itself on the battlefield, the development of the KARGU family stands out as an element that will further increase the export potential. In addition, it was shared that in the past years, anti-radiation (a type of warhead aimed at various radar and EW devices) seeker head and armour-piercing warhead studies were carried out for KARGU."

Also, Defence Turk also had this neat visual for how claymores work, which is the payload of Kargu. Just imagine 840 4mm steel balls coming from above instead of right in your face.

@Kartal1 they got fed up with your criticism. So, they decided to make it even lighter just to own you.🤣

I hope they didn't spare weight from the warhead otherwise I am all in for lighter/smaller Kargu.

They also should work with Anafarta to develop a better backpack instead of this thing as big as the 20 people tent it currently is delivered with, as I don't think they have the vision of developing a compact hard case.

If you hear by some chance that I died and my body has pellet marks, just know that STM did it, they sent like ~40 Kargus after me, they managed to injure me, but I died from disgust after I saw this filthy creature of man's sinful thoughts 🤣🤣🤣🤣

New Kamikaze Drone SAGAN to Hunt Down Threats:
- ASISGUARD has developed an FPV drone with a range of capabilities in collaboration with KZ Mekatronik.
- The FPV drone SAGAN, which allows users to see from the drone's perspective, will bring the attributes of its namesake bird—silent, fast, and sharp observational skills—to the modern battlefield.
- Developed to support land and air operations, SAGAN can transform into a kamikaze drone with its onboard explosives to neutralize threatening drones when needed. It can also perform surveillance and interception tasks in high-risk enclosed areas like caves.

Btw, I love the simplicity of this drone, I'll bet a hundred that they just slapped a C4 block on top of the drone, like these straight from MKE's website:

It just looks just like the part on top of the drone 😁 Another good option, imo, would be one with 2 or 3 thermobaric grenades attached.

I see that in the last deliveries to the Land Forces Command there is a loitering munition or a munition dropping drone named BAZNA. Do we know what this is? I tried to search by the name, but nothing pops up.

@Sanchez @Bogeyman @boredaf @Kaan Azman
Might be a new name to an existing product. Everyone’s asking the same question.

I think SSB has done a great job by completely hiding a project from its beginning. So we cannot even have the slightest idea about the project...

Not a single clue mate. I think @Sanchez is right and they renamed something, as we don't really keep new products under wraps until they are produced.

I see Kargu--->immediately join to throw mud on it 😝

Jokes aside. We see part of the preparation process before flight and also see a part of the training. We see that the flight was done with a training (dummy) warhead. The explosion next to the truck was most probably a planted explosive in order to demonstrate the concept. Good video (y)

Guys drones are good and change all doctrines but you can't just sit in the battle and just send loitering ammunitions. İf you want to kill every enemy soldier from loitering ammunitions, your ammunition would not be enough.

Look at Ukraine it is called war of drones however still they attack each other with assault rifles and grenades.

They use drones when the enemy position is far away.
Regarding attacks in trenches, they use 3-4 soldiers with grenades. And sometimes Main battle Tanks blindly Attack on trenches

There are a lot of videos from both sides, how soldiers attacking or defending trenches with grenades and rifles.

Long in short Turkish Army needs new weapon and engagement style.

İt is Carl Gustaf 84mm Recoilless Gun and new Airburst SMART AMMO with t time fuzing.

I know we have ATOM40mm
40mm_test2.jpg

But tell me which one is easy to carry, which one is easy to engagement?

ATOM40mm needs to be prepared to shoot while CG 84mm could be carry loaded and cocked.

We should produce CG 84mm MG4 and smart ammunition with time fuse.

If we ever get Alpagut, or something equivalent, I really want to see something like this. It is so simplistic yet so effective (on paper) I fucking love it.

It's a bloody container modified to hold and launch 126 loitering munitions from Rheinmetall. It is absolutely brilliant, this thing could really rain fire with the right loitering munition.

This much concentration might be a problem. I'm thinking a portion of it might house an EW suite if that's a problem. And it can be smaller. In fact, putting something similar but way smaller on the back of a pickup truck would be much more preferable IMO.

I think solutions like this one here will start to be preferred to 122mm rocket artillery in many situations in the future. The fact that is smart and super controllable can make every one of these small drones that will explode worth the price.

Oh, we can make something like this, but modular enough that we can fit in any kind of vehicle and carry different kinds of payload. But the concept, imo, is brilliant. Hero-400 mentioned there has a range of 150+ kms, this can remain out of range of most weapons and saturate an airspace nothing else. Even at half the range, it would be more or less out of danger even by itself.

I'm not sure about that as 122mm rockets would still be quite cost effective, but, when you want to saturate an airspace or wreak havoc on enemy's lines this would be priceless. Especially because range of loitering munitions would far outreach the reach of 122mm rockets.
