While Uluğbey is the primary goal here there can be other modern day satellite services that can be provided with such low earth orbit satellites both in military and civilian domains.
  • Internet communications like the Starlink
  • Direct to Device mobile phone services
  • Low latency communications for unmanned fighters
  • Global radar that can detect objects in the air
  • Satellite Electronic War
are among the services that maybe provided as capabilities improve

Aren’t those satellites to small for most military purposes except communications and gps services?

They are test satellites probably lacking long term sufficient fuel and probably testing a small number of features each time. Starlink satellites were smaller in the beginning too.

Türksat General Manager Ahmet Hamdi Atalay stated that the Türksat 7A satellite project is nearing the production phase and that the process of determining its technical specifications is nearly complete.

Atalay noted that Türksat is a partner in Turkiye’s Spaceport Project, which is being established in Somalia, adding, “Once we establish our own launch system, we will be able to meet our own needs whenever we want and secure a share in this vast market.”

As Türksat, we aim to be the first company to use our national launch system. We hope to launch our Turksat 7A satellite, which is currently in the preparation phase, into space using our own launch system and to have our infrastructure ready before this process. (AA)

The satellite is scheduled to enter service in 2029.

Turksat Satellites are geosynchronous satellites. Their orbit is ~35700km to 35800km above earth.
Delta-V just managed 210km altitude for 50kg payload. Roketsan is still working on a rocket to go 400km.
How and who are going to manage placing a 4.5 ton satellite at 35780km altitude? Turksat Satellites weigh around 4500kg. The Falcon-9 rocket that took Turksat 5-B to orbit weighed 549tons. Delta V rocket weighed 3tons to 3.5tons at best.

Per Mr Murat İkinci's statements Şimşek-1 and Şimşek-2 rocket developments are rapidly progressing and they are kind of counting days towards launch. While the estimated timeline starts from 2027 for launch the programs can get ahead of time. Şimşek-3 however will come after these two and will be rated for a 3.5 ton payload to GTO. I believe if the Şimşek-1 and Şimşek-2 rocket programs go very well Şimşek-3 can come earlier rather than later. So, in the best case scenario a 2029 launch is within possibilities. Specifications of Şimşek-3 can probably change to align with TAI programs. Some dates mentioned here were set years ago so they are not very accurate or up to date. On the other hand trusting an expensive satellite to a new rocket is a little risky, however the satellite is also highly Turkish made so the risk may be a little less now.

- M. İKİNCİ by Oğuzhan Uygun - today
Edit: If Şimşek-3 is suppsed to carry 3.5 ton from İğneada base it can carry 4.7 ton from an equatorial location.

Lets get some facts clear.

Simsek 1 : LEO (low Earth Orbit) SLV (Satellite Launch Vehicle) to carry 400kg to 550km altitude. Not launched yet. Testing was scheduled for 2027.

Simsek 2 : to carry 1500kg to Sun Synchronous Orbit of 700km altitude. Testing envisaged for 2028-2029

Simsek 3 : where as Simsek 2 was going to be a 2 stage liquid fuelled rocket, Simsek 3 is planned as a solid/liquid hybrid 2 stage new generation version of this rocket. Tests are envisaged for 2028 - 29

According to information given by Roketsan, there are no rockets planned to carry anything heavier than 1500kg and higher than 700km.
Plus none of these programs have launched anything yet. MSLV (Micro space launch vehicle) tests are to start end of this year. This is intended to launch up to 100kg to LEO.

So if you have no solid source or proof that Roketsan has even started to launch a 4500 kg Turksat satellite that has to go 35800km high, stop guessing.

What you mean the rockets?
No and why should they?
I think that Italians made provision that the rockets can be launched from Trieste helicopter carrier, just in the case if they have a problem with the French?
By rockets I mean rockets , the thing you launch and it goes into space , what possibly other than that it can be?

3.5 ton to sGTO; if this payload can be launched from İğneada (which we don't know for sure but is highly likely) the same rocket can launch 4.7+ ton (by physics) from an equatorial location like the shores of Somalia.

"Total Independence in Space" can not be achieved without launching your own broadcast satellite, can it.

Would like a source for that (no hate) because that seems impossible

I read it some time ago , I can't recall where.
To build a Cosmodrom worth few billions in more or less fictive country like Somalia is a bit risky.
Anyway, I believe that in some tests of reusable rockets , sea barges are used for a docking. So maybe Anadolu can be used as an option?

Probably the simplest way to use existing capabilities to launch space rockets is using two of our LST ships side by side and making a temporary larger platform on top of them. Our rockets will mostly be 30m 40m and 50m long rockets weighing up to 200 tons. It is like launching the weight of an Altay MBT with a 30m rocket, 2 Altays with a 40m rocket and 3 Altays with a 50m rocket. The inside of the LST can carry rocket parts and people to the launch location and you will have everything you need already.

There was a plan to retrofit the old Garibaldi as a space launch system called Simona. Those plans of course went nowhere.

Bro helicopter carrier is ship , ship sails in sea , sea has waves moves and is dangerous to lunch a space rocket from it , Perhaps u can lunch Atacams or bora type ones but never huge space slv that requere alot of things . What if something go wrong ! All in ship will be dead or injured .
Even if u do it u need to modify everything and slv will look like İCBM lunch from its TELs .
Did u see huge water going down when missile fires ? thats because the missile is so powerful that its noise can brake electronics and other things , thats just one of the problems
