They are gradually breaking off all relations with the Gulf countries. USA's first step was to become completely self-sufficient in oil production. Energy independence will increase with the electric vehicle revolution. They will no longer be the guardians of international maritime trade. They will be quite selective when intervening. Recent events have made this clearer.

Yup. If it really happens, in 10 years the world will look like a completely different place than what it has the past 70 years.
