The first flight of the prototype of the fifth-generation Su-57 two-seat fighter took place ✈️

Specialists of the United Aircraft Corporation (part of the Rostec State Corporation) have begun flight tests of the Su-57D two-seat fifth-generation multifunctional fighter.

The machine was lifted into the sky by the chief pilot of the Sukhoi Design Bureau, Hero of Russia, test pilot Sergei Bogdan. The flight took place normally in accordance with the conditions of the flight mission.

"Flight tests of the prototype of the fifth-generation Su-57 two-seat fighter have begun. This aircraft, proactively developed by our aircraft manufacturers, in addition to unique combat characteristics, will also have the functionality of a combat training aircraft and the capabilities of a combat control aircraft," said Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.

"We continue to work on improving and expanding the functionality of our most advanced fifth-generation aviation complex. I am sure that the two-seat version of the aircraft will significantly contribute to its success in foreign markets," said UAC CEO Vadim Badekha.

The Su-57 multifunctional front-line aviation complex was created to solve a wide range of combat missions. It is capable of hitting air, ground and sea targets. The aircraft can be used around the clock, including in adverse weather conditions and in a difficult jamming environment. Low visibility allows it to destroy targets even in the face of counteraction by modern air defense systems.

Rational purchase or usual indian panic shopping because of Pakistan might start receiving Chinese 5th gen jets soon?
.
This version of 5th gen Russian beauty just took the sky and Russian electronics are known to be inferior(correct me if im wrong). American F35 will always be better 5th gen jet than this.
