Details like the posibility for a political representation of the SDF, the call for dropping arms, the future of the fight against the Islamic State, the responsibility and the security mechanism when it comes to the IS prisons and related facilities like the Al-Hol camp, ensuring the safety of Coalition forces stationed in Syria during the whole process, the future role of the Coalition are all crucial points when it comes to the future of Syria.

I expect soon for the government in Syria to discuss these points in detail with SDF/PKK and Coalition representatives, and an official call for dropping arms to be made.

The most important point for the Syrian government is to manage and take control over Syria, do what is necessary (hopefully without spilling of blood), but if needed, TSK is continuing its preparations.

The clashes around Tishrin Dam and the bridge at Karakozak are there in order to put pressure on the YPG/PKK and prevent a move from their side and prepare these strategic crossing points for a larger push, but a possible Turkish operation on Ayn Al-Arab doesn't look like this.

As far as I know walls are still not been removed, but the border area is a military area now, journalists are not allowed to enter.

When it comes to the second point, there was not a cease fire in practice. The YPG infiltration from today failed.

TSK reinforcements both at Manbij side and Suruc are continuing. Real scale is not known due to the lack of footage for known reasons, but it is significant. Very soon everything will become clear.

"I will answer only to History and the Greek people," shouted military dictator Giorgos Papadopoulos in the courtroom where he and other members of the junta were tried for treason in July 1975. Presiding judge Ioannis Deyannis: "Do you think history does not exist in this courtroom?" he replied. Papadopoulos could not think of an answer. Just a few days later, both History and the Greek people sentenced him to death.

The regime of colonels was established in 1967 after a right-wing military junta staged a coup a month before scheduled democratic elections. In a press conference following the coup and the strict censorship that followed, General Papadopoulos claimed that Greece was "...like a patient who is tied to the operating table and cannot recover [from his illness] unless he is tied to the table." This analogy prompted BBC correspondent John Morgan to respond: "What does he think of the idea that the patient's only problem might have been the victory of the liberals in the May 28 elections?" To support the journalist's joke, the regime never seems to have found the root of the disease that 'infected' Greece, but kept the patient tied tightly, pushed, pushed and tortured. In the first month of the coup, some 8,000 people were arrested and the number of torture victims is estimated to be close to 2,000. The Torturers’ Trials

Ioannis Kontos, who began his military service in September 1971, told the court: “I am ashamed to have served in the ESA. When someone asks me in conversation where I served, I say ‘as a simple foot soldier’. Mr. President, who will cleanse us of this stain?” Following the Instigators’ Trial and the Polytechnic Trial, six more trials were held. These were the Torturers’ Trials. The first two of these cases, those involving the ESA, are considered by Amnesty International to be the first cases involving the prosecution of torture since Nuremberg.

A unique aspect of both cases was their structure. Both senior officials and subordinates testified in the same case; This functionally prevented either group from blaming the other without immediate consequences. This does not mean that he was not tried. The Greek torturer Major Hajizisis claimed that he had no report of what the officers were doing, so "why should he be accused of the things [KESA corporals] Kainich and Demertzidis did?" This statement provoked a reaction from the military defendants, a voice echoing: "What are you saying?" Kainich stormed out of the courtroom, but not before muttering, "That bastard Hajizisis forgot when he instructed me to send the prisoners to KESA and crush them. The peculiarity of the structure goes beyond who testifies when and extends to the amount of verbal testimony. Official documents, files and papers were destroyed, meaning that the trial was conducted almost exclusively through oral evidence. 120 torture victims testified, but the defendants still cite a lack of ‘hard’ evidence to support their innocence. Major Theofiloyannakos, who is often referred to as the second face of torture (after Major Hajizisis), denied all the victims’ claims.

It would be naive to think that American's are just gonna pack their bags and leave Syria. A lot of Israelis look to Northern Syria as a Buffer between Turkey and Israel and wanna protect it at all cost. It all ends up in Erdoğan. If he wants he can put an end to it right now and noone would do a damn thing. Last week there was a waiver about Russian Nuclear Power Plant and this week German Foreign Minister visited Turkey and now Eurofighter deal was thrown. I think Erdoğan is milking this situation for political gain. Time will tell if he is gonna do the op or not.
