The European Union considers the withdrawal of Russian troops from the country a precondition for lifting sanctions on Syria, said Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp.

It is noted that the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) group, which overthrew the regime of Bashar al-Assad in Syria, should refrain from agreements with the Russian Federation on preserving its military bases.

The shitty ceasefire deal between the SNA and SDF has reportedly been extended for 5 more hours
It is reported that the SDF/PKK has refused to fullfill any of its commitments regarding the aforementioned deal for the last 5-6 days

It kinda amazes me how the PKK is prolonging its survival by any means possible. Under the guise of a ceasefire deal, they extended their lifespan by 5 days for free and crushed numerous protests and rebellions within their occupied territory

It seems that the SNA is still reluctant to move that one final step and initiate the operation till date. The US is reportedly not budging from giving the SDF, at the very least, a semi-autonomous position

The Russians have been terrible in Syria. I have been following them since the very beginning, since August 2008, right after the war in Georgia, when Assad flew to Moscow and offered them military bases. Later, in 2015, their horrific bombing of Syrian cities, 10 million refugees, numerous brazen violations of Turkish airspace, the shooting down of a Russian Su-24 by a Turkish F16 as punishment, etc.
They did not act like allies of the Syrians, but like occupiers. Their theatrical impudence in Syria was both disgusting and funny to watch. Even funnier to watch them flee from their distant bases with their tails between their legs.
The Alawites, I think, will not be able to maintain their advantage on the coast to give Latakia to the Russians. Most likely, Damascus will decide this issue in agreement with Ankara.
The Russians have behaved so badly over these 9 years that everyone wants them to leave Syria as soon as possible.

Brussels, Belgium: EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas said Monday the bloc's envoy to Syria was going to Damascus to talk to the new Islamist-led leadership, as Western powers stepped up engagement after the ouster of Bashar al-Assad.

When i told this on this platform years ago, nobody took me serious.

So i will say it again and again.

I predicted 3 years ago that Trump will win again and that he is the best POTUS for Turkey and Turkish military operations.

Under Trump’s presidency we will see a Turkish Century: taking back Mosul, Kirkuk etc like we are defacto taking back Idlib and Aleppo.

Trump can get along very well with Erdogan and under Trump we can perform the most military operations.
