The problem is the Turkish government is not listening.

These idiots believe Kurdistan from Iraq and Syria can be controlled as puppets by us Turks.

Thats why there is this stupid acilim. Its going to backfire so bad. We shouldnt believe Barzani is onboard with us either.

Give the Kurds in Turkiye autonomy then thinking it can be controlled in Syria and Iraq by Turks.

This is going to backfire so bad.

Economically can Turkey even afford to export enough gas to Syria long-term?

[Saithan]

To me, it looks like Turkey is doing what it can to avoid Syria imploding into mini states. easy picking for Israel.

While we've let the PKK/YPG/SDF remain unharmed and continue what they're doing. Not a good idea. TSK should continue hitting them and taking them out to keep them under pressure and maybe hope that it'll implode.

[Anastasius]

Yeah I don't know how "avoid Syria imploding" and "letting YPG remain unharmed" is gonna work out, you can only really have one. If Syria is gonna remain whole then YPG must go.

Look at the language being used.

We won't see an operation anytime soon, not under this leadership anyway. Kurdistan project is in full swing.

I heard some unconfirmed reports about Turkish military taking over some large military bases deep in Syria.

Nice timing if true.

There is no proxy tug of war bro

It is Syrian people trying to get their lands back versus Israel trying to divide and conquer Syria through war, blood, and lies. The ridiculous notion of a "proxy" war is nothing more than Israel's public excuse to deligitimise the united Syrian govt and necessitate/legitimise Israeli presence on Syrian lands
