Casual Discussion "Türkiye" instead of Turkey

Ottoman expansion into the Middle East was not just to control thr holy cities and expand the empire but it was to get more Muslims into the Empire the Ottoman ruled the Balkans and Anatolia there were lots of Christians which created a long term problem.

I like Turkey more than Türkiye.

'Turkey' is a more powerfull name, like a solid rock.

'Türkiye' sounds like LGBT-safe space language.
