Pakistani recruits of Iran? Seriously? These are our minority Shia population that are recruited by outsiders. It's like a Pakistani judging Turkey based on Turkish Kurds joining PKK.

Kuala Lumpur was Pakistan being blackmailed and being in a serious economic situation at the time. But that has only led to better relations with the Turks as Erdogan was told about this at the time by our PM.

And economic dependence on China? There were recent reports of Turkish bailouts by China. Much of the world is now economically dependant on China. Difference with Pakistan is that we have a very old and strong bond with the Chinese people that started before any economics, very like our bond with the Turks.

And regarding TFX, Pakistan has its own 5th generation project and does not really need to join another program. Also, Pakistan will be the first country and perhaps the only country that will be offered a Chinese 5th gen fighter which is already operational. They may even be gifted to Pakistan at some point.
