How beautiful is the Air SOJ plane in the back if my elf eyes don't see wrong :) .
Would love to see it looking not so clean, with antennas sticking out from every surface imaginable :(,
Does KAAN have Air to air refuling , i cant see it ? or will be in next prototypes ?
I think we can safely say production variants will have standard receptacle for booms. Old art also feature it.

Judging by the wording, looks like even if TEI gets the license to build F110-129Es in house or not, first 20 will still be powered by the GE engines.
This engine is with afterburner or without? İ don't know how to write .


AFAIK 5th gen fighters must have different type of engine.

Does GE's engine enable MMU having super Cruise?

Does GE engine have super Cruise?


35000lbf thrust is achieved with afterburners.
Dry thrust(without afterburners) should be around 26000lbf if it is synonymous to a F119 engine.
Supercruise is 1+ Mach speed without afterburners. But US defines it as 1.5 Mach without afterburners.
To achieve this our plane will need engines not less than 24000lbf thrust each in dry mode.

38000lbf is probably emergency thrust. 35000lbf is the normal limit.

With a TF35000 it will.
Unofficially F22 has been recorded to achieve 1.8 Mach supercruise speeds with it’s (35000lbf wet) 26000lbf dry thrust F119 engine.
F110's Dry thrust: 16,610 lbf thus GE's engines don't enable KAAN to have sustained supersonic speed without afterburners.

It is Dr Aksit who mentioned it. He said we could produce an engine like f119 that powers f22 at TEI.
He stated that TFX will need an engine that will develop a thrust level of 35000lbf with afterburners.
F119 has a wet thrust of 35000lbf and a dry thrust of 26000lbf.

I hope KAAN Gen 1 with GE engine could sustain mach 1.1/1.2 Supercruise without afterburners somehow.

Kaan very much resembles F22, especially from top view.
I would like to make a size comparision.
F22 overall (LxWxH) dimensions are: 18.9 x 13.6 x 5.1 m
What are the dimensions for Kaan?
