The Ukrainian army began to use the 40 mm M32 Milkor MGL grenade launcher. The light six-shot revolving grenade launcher Milkor MGL was developed in South Africa in 1983 on the basis of the American single-shot M79 grenade launchers, after which it was modernized many times. The grenade launcher has been produced by the American division of Milkor USA since 2005 under the name Milkor M32 MGL, at one time the grenade launcher was even on sale for 15 thousand dollars. The M32 grenade launcher is equipped with a regular collimator sight mounted on an adjustable base and having a scale for entering corrections for firing range. The Milkor MGL-140 grenade launcher quickly gained worldwide popularity and is used by more than thirty countries around the world. The effective range of the grenade launcher for point targets is 150 meters, for area targets 400 meters, the rate of fire is 18 rounds per minute, and the weight is 6 kilograms.
