Who are they ? TOGG engineers or group? Are they establishing a factory with an annual production capacity of 175000 vehicles, where 4500 people will work for the "lie" you are talking about? Are they also building a 20GWh battery factory for nothing?

You can criticize the logo or project management approach in a suitable language without generalizing but it would not be the right approach to make the such Turkiye's big projects meaningless with the marginalizing and fake perception language of politics.

We all know they ( or rather ) a single person has given this job for at least multi dozen thousand dollars (sure it was in foreign currency), to a relative that ended up copying stuff from web5.

I bet you can get better options from bi'onluk website for 100 lira.

Even the font is not special, this is logo of a respectable group claiming to make a Turkish car and aiming to be a global company, yet using licensed fonts and a logo with no depth.

The color doesn't even go well neither with white or black background.

The image of a car manufacturer is one of the most important factors for a customer to make a buying decision, a rip off logo is not exactly building confidance in the brand.
What use do all those manufacturing plants have when you fail at marketing? Its the diference between investment in future or getting bankrupt after a couple years.

In fact What I deserve is not the subject of this topic. The important thing is that you should stop making generalizations and marginalizing everything with your political language and you should also give a logical answer to the question I asked. But again, you plunged into politics and sacrificed what's going on in your ideological world with a very narrow perspective assumptions.

Again, I ask, there is a factory that is under construction and that close to completion and 4500 people will work in this factory. Another battery factory is being built related to this investment and will have 20Gwh production capability. These are done deals. There is also a few prototype which is in trials. Which country can afford such a giant investment for a "lie"? How can you really believe that all this is a "lie" and also an election investment?

You probably believe that the Botaş's big gas storage units built in Filyos are also the investment for the "imaginary" gas allegedly found in the Black Sea. The deal signed with the Italian ENI for the underwater mechanism to be established to transport the founf gas to the Filyos probably serves the same "lie"

In fact to speak the truth, I can see very well who deserves to be manipulated by whom. I am sure when the time comes you will be a witness to yourself and you'll be sad about some of your assumptions you have made about Turkiye's big future projects not only about this subject but also in defence industry. With your assumptions that you have set up in your head and that you believe to be true, you are already French to the realities of your own country achieved by "OTHERS". Don't worry, time will reveal who is actually being manipulated when you think you are smart. Then you will get your answer not from me, but from the engineers and workers of your own country working on these projects.

What does politics have to do with the logo? What does Erdo or AKP or Islamists have to do with the bloody logo? Do you guys know how much Erdo is investing in this bloody project? You think he will screw it over a logo? You guys are politicising stuff that doesnt have relation to politics at all

Firstly, the TOGG car isnt owned by the givt directly but through a Turkey's Automobile Joint Venture Group Inc which is composed of Anadolu Group, BMC Turkey, Kök Group, Turkcell and Zorlu Holding

Now, most of these companies are high valued companies with ppl that have brains, you think that they wanna screw up over a logo?

Again, Erdo ajd the AKP are spending billions on the project and you think he wont spend another couple of millions for a logo? In fact, especially for @Ardabas34, The AKP didnt hire an Islamist to make the logo for the company; the truth is that they hired an International Design agency called CGH based in New York and they were the ones that proposed several designs and all of the involved parties agreed on the logo you guys are criticising. So are they Islamists as well?

Dont get me wrong though, I myself think the logo is horrendous (as stated in my previous posts) and Iam not that fond of political Islam but to actually throw the blame on specific ppl or parties that have no relation at all to the issue in question and politicising it on top of that is just wrong, wrong, and a greater wrong. Like pls grow up

This isnt a political forum amd some may say that it isnt my place to say this (as Iam not turk etc...), but watching you guys bickering like this makes me even more sure that with the current political bullshit going on, AKP must win since, if this mentality prevails, you guys amd Turkey will be thrown into an even worse spiral just like with Egypt and Tunisia. Hopefully that doesnt happen though

Anyway, the logo decision, has nothing to do with politcal parties, affliation, or corruption. It was purely an administrative decision of the companies owning TOGG

I somehow really doubt that CGH was involved in the design. They are a globally respected company and designed logos for many of the most well-known brands in the world like Mobil, National Geographic, JP Morgan Chase, Showtime, NBC, PBS, Smithsonian, PanAm, etc. To make an amateur copying mistake like this is not in their style and it would be a major scandal. I'm gonna wait and see if they start denying designing it because otherwise it would crash their reputation.

It's also possible that CGH agreed to sign off on the design as "theirs" to make it more respectable but the actual work was handed off to some intern with not a single creative bone in his body. But again, if they start getting too much heat over it being copied then they may also deny this.

Most of all I feel sorry for the actual hard-working engineers at TOGG whose brand is already poisoned right out of the gate by this mess-up. Reminds me of when Azerbaijan ended up accidentally screwing up relations with Switzerland because our stupid b***h of an ambassador, who was given an old, highly-valuable, authentic Azerbaijani rug to present as a gift to the Swiss government, proceeded to sell it and tried to give the Swiss a poorly-made copy which they immediately rejected and wrote a letter admonishing the Azerbaijani government for lying to them.

Point being, one person can screw up everything but it's not necessarily the fault of their coworkers.
