With this strategic weapons we will imbalance geo politics in the world :D, TB2 was a preview in Libya and other countries. But when you hit a ship of a Western power it will hurt them. What the outcome will be is difficult to talk about.

Finally! I hope they'll start serial production soon, I wonder how much export potential Akya might have. Nonetheless, this is great news.

Now we just have to wait to hear something, anything about Orka and we'll have overcome one of our most critical shortcomings in regards to our navy.
There are things to be done with Akya, I would like to call it MkII when those are achieved and that will be far better than any torpedo available for TN to acquire.

As it is, it is enough to be in duty and almost on-par with the torpedoes in stock or offered for export by the producers.

Some would say 'they couldn't dare to hit a real sized warship, so they chose a small one for their first live-fire test'. But man, that was a show-off. Small hulls are harder to break in half, and since the draft of the ship is small, the depth of detonation is small, leaving little space for the shock wave to propagate and reflect. So the bubble around the hull after the negative pressure hit was too shallow, and yet it broke the tiny ship in half! In addition, the triggering mechanism was able to detect the presence of a small amount of steel compared to real warships.

See, you're being a tease again 😁 I'm glad to learn they are not calling it a day after developing Akya as it is though, that is great news.

No need translation, video explains it all.

what an absolutely lousy job blurring the CMS interfaces of the submarine.
such an amazing achievement for the defence industry, such a proud moment, ruined by cheap ass post prod effect. that anybody can achieve with basic level video editing skills.. what a shame. compared the the ANKA 3 video, this is so unfair for the AKYA torpedo and the team behind it .

So now we just need to see firing tests of Sapan and basically all weapons systems will be indigenous from now on

Being fastest torpedo is a bold claim. DM2A4, BlackShark, F21 all have 50 knots of max speed.
Maximum speed and cruising speed are different terms. If the cruising speed is 45 knots and it can still have a range of 50 km, yes, Akya may be the best torpedo. This is possible.

It says "Asgari Hiz", so minimum speed is 45 kts
EDIT: It also says that System deliveries started in 2021. What does that mean exactly?

My understanding of Torpedo technologies is primitive. Maybe @Anmdt could tell us how good Akya is comparatively with other similar systems. E.g. French F21.
