So which Muslim countries have so far opposed Chinese treatment of Uighurs? I know Pakistan claims that they are treated just fine. In an interview with Karan Thapar for the Wire - the Pakistani Official from the Pak PM's team claimed that they are fine with the treatment of Uighurs in China. But am not sure how the other countries in the Muslim world feel about it?

Muslim countries first need to be truly indenpendent, we see how it works with Iran as only one so far, whole world jumped on them, all in due time. Xinjiang issue suddenly popped up out of nowhere in recently years flamed by the western governments and media, it's just a fabricated lie the west uses against China, Tibetan issue used to be more of a tool against China a decade ago during 2008 Beijing Olympic games, but now it's not actively reported cause the west found a new and better card, the Muslim card. They don't care that the biggest Muslim group in China are not even in Xinjiang . How is Xinjiang comparing with other Muslim regions? I suggest those who really care to to visit Xinjiang personal and see the region with their own eyes.

It has been more than two years since Sayragul Sautbay was released from a re-education camp in China’s westernmost region of Xinjiang. Yet the mother of two still suffers from nightmares and flashbacks from the “humiliation and violence” she endured while she was detained.


Sautbay, a medical doctor and educator who now lives in Sweden, recently published a book in which she detailed her ordeal, including witnessing beatings, alleged sexual abuse and forced sterilisation.

In a recent interview with Al Jazeera, she shed more light on other indignities to which the Uighurs and other Muslim minorities were subjected, including the consumption of pork, a meat that is strictly prohibited in Islam.


“Every Friday, we were forced to eat pork meat,” Sautbay said. “They have intentionally chosen a day that is holy for the Muslims. And if you reject it, you would get a harsh punishment.”

Again it is really not my fault if you cannot comprehend the difference between a political party (which is fair game to criticize and attack especially regarding specific evil actions) and an entire country.
