New future headache just dropped. IS has a new province, IS Caucasus/Georgia. They may be responsible for the Dagestan attacks today.

I think that there are many IS Caucasus members in Turkiye already. Those IS members that hold Russian passports are members most probably of the IS Caucasus branch. They are mostly concentrated in Chechnya, Dagestan and Ingushetia. They were very active a couple years ago, but due to the success of FSB, their activity was limited. Now with the war in Ukraine and the overstretch of the Russian internal security services looks like IS terrorism in Russia gain new momentum.

Now next to the ones carrying Russian passports, we will be dealing with terrorists carrying Georgian passports. What can I say...

They attacked a dancing group in Diyarbakır by chanting 'Allah-u Akbar'

Participants in the dance show that a private dance school wanted to organize in an open area in Diyarbakır were attacked by a group chanting takbir.

Ministry of Internal Affairs: (Attack on Burger King and Starbucks branches in Diyarbakır) "The proceedings against the 16 people who committed these actions are currently being carried out at the Diyarbakır Provincial Police Department. They will be referred to the prosecutor's office within the day."

Don't respond to provocations! There is a new trend coming which is exploited by the enemies of Turkiye. Due to the unfortunate situation in Palestine, there are groups with malign intentions that want to provoke an internal division and conflict within the Turkish Nation, destroying its indivisible integrity by using people's emotional response and sensitivity towards their religious beliefs. There are such groups from within the less religious circles and Islamists as well. What they do is pursuing objectives based on revanchism, exploiting the ordinary man's emotional responses.

Apart from Islamists and people connected to terrorists organizations like Fehmi Bulent Yildirim, PKK and other interested actors are also exploiting the situation.

Do not be a tool or even worst, a weapon in the hands of the enemies of Turkiye!

A terrorist with a code name "Harekol", Taner Ogmen who was taking place in the "RED" Most Wanted List was eliminated in Mardin. The terrorist served in Iraq and Syria prior to his deployment inside Turkiye.

Another interesting news was that after a successful MIT-EGM TEM operation in Erzurum against the PKK a Russian national (female) was captured. It was determined that the Russian female was active within the PKK/KCK structure in Russia.

Possible very important development.

Yesterday in 10:30 our Interpol/Europol Department Headquarters was called by the Russian Interpol Unit officials and informed that "a person named Evgenii Serebriakov, a Russian national, carried out a terrorist attack with a car bomb in Moscow, 2 people (one male and one female) were injured as a result of the attack and the person came to our country by Moscow-Bodrum plane. It is known that the male is serving officer in the Russian Military Intelligence GRU and the injured female is his wife.

In result of the conducted swift investigation it was determined that the suspect entered Turkiye from the Bodrum Airport in 9:40, the system did not gave an alarm because he is not in the Interpol International Wanted Persons Database (e-ASF) records.

Necessary coordination has been ensured with the Intelligence Directorate, Interpol/Europol Department, MIT Directorate, Immigration Management Directorate, Counter-Terrorism Department and Mugla Provincial Police Department regarding the issue, and the identity information and photographs specified in the letter received from the Russian INTERPOL Unit have been matched. The person was captured yesterday in Bodrum by our Mugla Provincial Police Department units.

Why it is interesting? Because his name matches the name of a wanted person by the FBI who is serving in GRU. It may not be the same person tho.

Could he potentially jump ship and that's why Russia wants him back ?
if this is the same person wanted by the FBI, this means that the guy went rogue or is working for another interests. In all cases Russia have the right to ask him back, but name similarity is interesting. I think we should keep an eye on this case.

It is not possible for it to be the same person, because the person who flew from Russia to Bodrum yesterday was arrested on the same day.
