I wonder if it will be TEI or BSS that will make the T929's engine.

Another T129 has been delivered to the Turkish Gendarmerie . That should be 70 delivered to Turkish military and interior ministry altogether so far.

The Turkish Utility Program is quite frankly a failure in bureaucracy on a level which would make Germany jealous.

- Resolution of the Executive Committee of the Defense Industries adopted on December 5, 2007
- UHP Agreement was executed by and between TAI and TEI in Ankara on February 21, 2014,
- Not a single Heli has been delivered nor announced to be delivered in 2022.

From decision to Service in hopefully 16 Years for a simple Black Hawk if it enters Service in 2023.

TAI is expanding at every field but results are quite sparse.
Too many promises by the CEO but not enough results.

But TEI has manage to Produce the T700 Engine with a nice locality rate.
- 236 Engines to be produced.
- Around 11/2021 they had produced the 53rd T700 Engine and they should be at 60+ Engines.

In the Context of T-929 ATAK II

With the ongoing war in Ukraine which could stop the delivery of Motor Sich Engines set for 2nd half 2022, perhaps we could use these Engines as a replacement.
Especially since NATO seems to ease sanctions on Turkey

Even though the Motor Sich Engine seems more powerful, the Continuous power is similar.

TEI T700

1. The TEI Engines delivers 16 HP more continuously
> TV3 1700 HP and T700 1716HP

2. The TEI Engine is 88 Kg lighter
> TV3 295kg and T700 207kg.

The rapprochement with USA and thus General Electric would be really beneficial in certain points but would obviously suck for Export.

what happened to T-70 program?

I would like to know that as well. That is what I am trying to say.

What happened to Hürkus ? or ANKA Aksungur deliveries ? or T129 ATAK for PH ? something isn't working straight at TUSAS and its damaging trust and reputation.

And.. works closely with Chinese! exchanging military technology, and the Chinese are very keen to acquire better engine technology, avionics etc. The main issue is Pakistan being in another camp now and undermining the US interests. There is a big lack of trust between Pakistan and the USA after years of incidents that happened in and around Afghanistan like what is happening in Syria from the perspective of Turkey. The US will never give those engines!

Because the order was rather small in value and thus did not require approval from the congress or something. Pakistans order was big and currently has no chance of being approved.
