Bayraktar Kızılelma's second production prototype prepared for flight was exhibited for the first time at TEKNOFEST BLACK SEA.

Bayraktar Akıncı and Bayraktar TB2 Pilot Instructor Elif Ergin told Anadolu Agency (AA) that they carried out test and training activities at Akıncı flight training centers.

Stating that Kızılelma was exhibited for the first time in Samsun, Ergin stated that the concept design of the vehicle was completed in May 2021. Ergin said, "Structural integration of the Red Crescent has been completed to a large extent, the mechanical and avionics integration process is continuing. We are planning its flight in the first months of 2023." said.

Domestic ammunition will be integrated

Pointing out that the unmanned fighter jet Kizilelma has high and aggressive maneuverability, Ergin stated that the vehicle can stay in the air for 5 hours and reach an operational altitude of 35 thousand feet. Ergin said:

"Kızıl Redma is one of the latest developments in UAV technology in the world. It has a take-off weight of 6 tons and a payload capacity of 1.5 tons. We plan to integrate all locally developed ammunition and all ammunition in the Air Force's inventory. One of the most important features of Kızılelma is The ability to land and take off from ships with short runways such as TCG Anadolu."

Stating that Kızılelma can also work with other members of Baykar's UAV family, Ergin said, "Thanks to the smart UAV autonomy, the herd will have the ability to fight in the form of UAVs. This will constitute one of the effective power elements." used the phrases.

1. KE is being shown at the Tenofest Karadeniz
2. It's structural integration is almost done
3. It will fly within the first months of 2023
4. It will be able to land and take off from tcg Anadolu.

That last statement is very important. Especially it is mentioned that tb3 will also be operable from tcg Anadolu. Taking off can be managed one way or another. But the hydraulics on the arresting wires being suitable for both a 1200kg tb3 and a 6000+kg KE is going to be a bit assertive.
