So the "Black Sea Shield" initiative of BAYKAR has no operations? Why is BAYKAR so eager to build a factory in Ukraine?Negotiated for;
- Joint production
- Production facility in TR with incentives and tax free exports, with all rights reserved to UKR
- Acquisition and transfer of personnel & facilities
- Demanded a cooperation to introduce marine turbines with turkish built ships

And here we are, they will likely have no factory in the near future, meanwhile TR has got alternatives and indigeneous projects to replace those who are acquired by them.
We should have never started with MS, IP engines but some middle men gonna earn their life.

Akinci-C should be using PT-6 engines if I'm not mistaken.This mean also no Export of Akinci anymore ? For Akinci C also ukrainian Engines are needed, not to forget for Kizilelma and Anka-3.
Biggest blunder was redesigning T-929 around ukrainian engines. I said it then TS-3000 should have been greenlit years ago when it was offered by TEI.Negotiated for;

I think Baykar faced some challenges with the factory in Ukraine as well, since there has been an opposition against Baykar in favor of domestic industry and i don't know how it goes currently. And i have no idea how Black Sea Shield operates. I believe those negotiations carried out independently of Baykar and Black Sea Shield, and through SSB.So the "Black Sea Shield" initiative of BAYKAR has no operations? Why is BAYKAR so eager to build a factory in Ukraine?
I would say those two have a part in it but then i remember of saying this before, they see Turkiye as a future rival in the Black Sea, and region both through military industry and power. And they know they hold onto few technologies that renders them useful in the military industry with a little R&D. I recall of some talks with few Ukranians on the frigate project and how they put the Turkish companies willing to provide the most, at the last row."Kılavuzu karga olanın burnu boktan çıkmaz!"
Ukrainians fell prey to the Americans and the French. Ukrainian teams and equipments could be transported to Turkiye very easily. But they did not agree to this due Yankees&French.
We lost 5 years, but Ukrainians lost everything! In terms of aviation engines, of course.
Those weren't mine, i am just speculating those have been already negotiated and declines by Ukraine. They got what they deserve and now those engineers and technicians will likely flee to UAE and Poland, Czech.They have nothing, they do not have electricity first of all so they would never be able to produce anything. You have a golden hart with all that good suggestions . I would put taxes on that...
Akıncı has P&W, T929 engine problem isn't new and AFAIK KE already has enough engines delivered for now. TF6000 is being tested so it's only a few years of having to do with existing engines.This was entirely predictable, I remember we discussed it already one year ago. So no engines for Kizilelma, no engines for Akinci and no engines for T-929. Now everything rests on TEI’s shoulders.
I very doubt if KE or ANKA-3 has enough engines in the stock. I also doubt if IP ever continued production since the war and it was few engines that supplied to Baykar before the war, and few to TAI.Akıncı has P&W, T929 engine problem isn't new and AFAIK KE already has enough engines delivered for now. I mean KE and ANKA 3 is flying and being tested, so it's better than having waited for TF6000. As to how many is many or few that's relative. Are we gonna operate 20 or 100 of these? And how long will it take to manufacture that many even? 4-5 years after serial production starts? It would be fun to see a drone base with like 40 UAV as an air force of it's own thoughI very doubt if KE or ANKA-3 has enough engines in the stock. I also doubt if IP ever continued production since the war and it was few engines that supplied to Baykar before the war, and few to TAI.
We are suffering what some middlemen caused even after seeing how it goes after the war.
It's a reasonable guess. If we were talking about manned aircraft, it would be ridiculous to integrate these engines into aircraft 2 years after the first ignition. However, it is possible for unmanned aircraft, although it is a bit risky. There is no risk of pilot loss, in the worst case the platform is lost. This means that the engines will mature by flying.My guess is we will be able to see TF6000 on Kızılelma and Anka3 in under 2 years after first ignition. I would say we will even see it on both of these planes no later than when the Ukrainian engines received in stock go out in the LRIP period and there will be no hiatus in production.
AMAZING!....they can fly.
Baykar is going fast, TB3 is getting better and better.
