I know it is a wild thought & wishfull thinking with lots of plot holes but we have a flying design just like Hürjet and we are collecting data almost everyday which is called KE. TUSAŞ & BAYKAR collobration may give birh to a new carrier based stealth fighter

It would be counterintitive to make a carrier Hürjet as we may very well be without engine supply. I would think a twin TF10k engine Hürjet and versions of KE both with single and twin engines with both TF10k and TF6k would be more viable. With possible single and twin TF35k engine planes further down the road. An unmanned focused AC carrier with manned backup planes would be fantastic.

Edit: Argueably unmanned and automaed operation can yield higher sortie counts.

Why do I see a lot of experts saying "Just to be able to fly a flying wing design aircraft is a huge success."? Is it really that hard to fly these? I mean of course it is something to celebrate that we will have such capable drone and we are getting better and better building them. I am genuinly happy. I know to keep the flying wing design aircraft stable is relatively hard. because of it's inherent unstable design, it needs high amount of processing power and delicate actuators to stay stable. But isn't it the same with with hurjet and kizilelma too. They are designed with an unstable body too. Maybe not as unstable as anka 3 but still the same kind of problem. It may have been a hard problem back in nineties or eighties but now even middleschoolers using PID control on chips that would make nineties' superpower's jealous. Is it still that hard to fly them. Are there things I am unaware of that makes flying wing designed aircrafts so difficult for a company working on a 5th generation jet? We are still telling "it is good that we managed to do that". If there is someone who can tell with technical details, I would be grateful.
just to give you an example, Chine could not show a flying yet, with all those population and financial power. this alone shows how hard it is to make it fly

China has flown several flying wing drones already.

1. GJ-11 Sharp Sword prototype maiden flight in 2013:

Soon to be navalized for their new aicraft carrier Type 003 Fujian:

2. Tian Ying /Sky Hawk drone flight revealed in 2018:

I bet they have many more yet unrevealed stealth UCAV, flying wingman and bomber drone projects in the pipeline.

For manned flying wing jets they're working on the Xi'an H-20 stealth bomber against US counterparts:

The Chinese ain't sleeping in this tech field. They're only paranoid and secretive enough, not to show much unnecessarily.

That's all we have for now, but even for the future to keep the cost down a cheap engine is good to have. Also considering exports the market, not everybody needs a top of the line product.

I want to share my rough concept of swarm UCAV concept.

Few assumptions:
Since things like KE do not have humans in, therefore there is no longer need to put everything on every system for protection. This helps us with distributing useful payloads across a swarm.

TF6000 is the key. If it has disproportionately large electricity generation, it can enable putting full MURAD on an UCAV.

Now, if these assumptions hold, we can imagine a swarm or squadron of MIUS such that:
- First one will have MURAD and will serve as the leader, assuming primary target detection and control node for communications. Will provide targeting info for munitions of surrounding systems. Will likely be coming from behind because it is also more valuable.

- Second: EW variant. Instead of radar, it could carry EW payload on nose and use all electricity generation for that. This would allow it really high capacity vs things like ehpod. It could communicate with other EW variants so they jam different targets and signals.

- Third variant could be cargo mule, maybe a weaker radar, carries more munitions than rest. Cheaper, and maybe uses ukranian engine?

- Four: Tanker, similar to US navy tanker concept or F18 to F18 refueling, adds a bit of extra range to fleet but not too much. Anka 3 has similar concept.

These don't need to be exact same drone, but I am thinking varianrs of Anka 3 and KE and not say akıncı. Addition of things like Super şimşek could also be interesting.

According to Temel Kotil, Anka 3 will be delivered within 1 year to TSK. Well, good, but there are some unknowns.

What kind of weapons and equipment integration they will complete in this period? What kind of targeting system they will use for these munitions. E/O gimbal is out of question as it will disturb the stealth properties of the UAV. Maybe an internally integrated targeting pod?

Anyone has info on this?

Will Anka-3 be equipped with TF-6000 or with ukrainianEngine ?

Suffice to say Anka-3 is still a long way away from FOC and even IOC. I wholly welcome the choice to give it to HvKK for extended tests tho so they can come up with a CONOPS.

We also don't know anything re serial production, or if HvKK will even give orders for it.

More importantly, which engine? How many Ukrainian engines do we have?

Anka3 can do a good job at any of its incarnations as there is no existing capability in its class. It will share its class with Kızıelma when KE arrives.

I think the fist delivery of ANKA-3 will be for test purposes. It will get a stealth nozzle configuration and it will be RAM-painted.
So TSK can test the radar and IR detectability to make deployment plans accordingly. And then the ANKA-3 version for serial production will be developed hand in hand with TSK and TAI. Just my guess.

E/O gimbal is out of question as it will disturb the stealth properties of the UAV.
It is possible that first iterations that'll be used for testing and whatnot could have a gimbal, until something like Karat or Toygun (or something similar I don't know) can be adapted for Anka-3. While stealth of the drone is paramount, it is also borderline useless until we are at war with a peer-level enemy, so it can be sacrificed for a little bit longer while getting LRIP version to test and get used to. KE will also require something like that as well, so, Aselsan will eat well on those sales 😁

ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol announced some of the payloads of Anka-III.

- IRST
- AESA Radar
- EOST

ASELSAN General Manager Ahmet Akyol said something about this issue. Based on what he said, if the payloads are to be like this, I doubt that Anka-3 will be able to enter the inventory within 1 year.
