Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) announced that the development of the twin-engine model of the Anka-3 unmanned aerial vehicle has begun.

TAI announced that the ANKA-3 has a high subsonic speed, but the development of the twin-engine supersonic ANKA-3 aircraft has already begun and will accompany the KAAN fighter jet.

In the future, the TAI ANKA-3 unmanned aerial vehicle will fly with 2 TEI-TF10000 turbofan engines.

The ANKA-3 will be able to carry 650 kilograms of ammunition in each of the two stations in the fuselage, 650 kilograms in each of the inner wing stations and 100 kilograms in each of the outer stations.

Apparently this is Anka4. 2 engines,

I hope so, lack of stealth nozzle due to commonality with F35B is one of the biggest weaknesses of the platform. I hope KAAN is more like F22 nozzle, and I think due to the placement of vertical stabilizers it is even more crucial for IR stealth.

TUSAŞ exhibited the latest variant of its ŞİMŞEK target UAV alongside the ANKA-3 UCAV during its Teknik Gezi XL event, which was open to the public.

New variant of ŞİMŞEK with a sharper and smoother profile, likely for higher speeds (no, not supersonic). I guess TUSAŞ wants to keep ŞİMŞEK alongside SÜPER ŞİMŞEK as the cheaper alternative.

Şimşek/Süper Şimşek will be a manace to any foe. I see chaff flare dispensers on the wings for the less stealthy one. Those chaff flare dispenser will probably be able to launch smart RF decoys in addition to chaff and flare. Now think about that this thing will also mimic RCS of a fighter while our jammers jam the shit out of battlespace. Tell you what it is the doomsday scenario for any air defense. Air inlets are positioned on top of the Şimşek variants so it will be harder to detect by ground radars if the mission commander opts to use them as cruise missiles. BLOS range is given as 700km, LOS range is 200km
