Turkey Just Tested Its Fearsome New Combat Drone
Now that Ankara is in a thorny maritime dispute putting it at odds with Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, and Israel–with France trying to defuse the situation before it spirals out of control–the eventual adoption of the Aksungur as a combat and ISR platform further cements Turkey’s status as a “drone power.”

Swarm drones are raining over the enemy soldiers like hell. Tens of small drones that are not valuable for costly SAM missiles are entering into the danger zone for spotting/illuminating bigger targets/SAM batteries by laser pointers. Kargi anti-radiation drones are searching radio waves of enemy radars to destroy them. Bigger strategic drones that are positioned out of effective ranges of enemy SAM batteries are launching Kuzgun, Miniature bombs or KGK winged long-range munitions against enemy targets that were spotted by smaller drones. Tactical drones are cleaning the ground at low intensify conflict zones. Somewhere on-air, Turkish unmanned fighter drones are using their stealth features to approach enemy aircraft to destroy them when they enter into effective ranges of their AA missiles. During all these are happening, The Air-SOJ and Koral jammers are blinding the enemy territory. Turkey is creating one of the most effective unmanned aerial forces to deal with the enemy!

I'm really interesting in this thing. Especially what kind of engine it is going to use and if it is stealth.
It was claimed that Aksungur's wings will be shortened and a double turbojet will be added by making a design change in the body.

He is definitely not talking about minor changes. He explains things to non-aviators so he oversimplifies. A supersonic plane's wings have to be short and swept like a fighter jet's wings. And the nose of the plane has to be pointy to minimize drag. So expect something of the shape of a fighter jet plan-form and not that of a slow flying run of the mill UAV.

So Göksungur will not be Aksungur with Turbofan/Turbojet engine, also it's design and bodystructure is not suited for that speed.

I expect a completely new drone design.

Oh a pretty good video on Karayel. Makes my heart bleed knowing that Vestel wasn't rewarded for their effort.

On this it says TS-1400 core engine derivatives View attachment 1679

So it's a turbojet/fan engine derived from the TS1400? Why haven't we heard more from it?

Seeing as it was displayed at least more than 2 years ago, perhaps a fully working engine is ready to be used. Vid is from June 2018:

Most probably turbojet variant. Large sized internal fans will make turbofan variant much larger in size compared to turbojet variant.
