The Ukrainian army began to use the American Metal Shark 40 Defiant patrol boats, one of them was seen on the Dnieper. Metal Shark, a manufacturer, has announced that it is building 17 more small patrol boats of three different types for the Ukrainian Navy as part of US military assistance programs. The boat is 13 meters long, made of aluminum and protects the crew from bullets. For the United States, the Defiant 40 PB boat is equipped with guided weapon stations. Also on board can be installed machine guns M2 Browning, M240 caliber 7.56 mm, automatic grenade launcher Mk.19 caliber 40mm. What equipment came to Ukraine is unknown. The boat is equipped with two Cummins QSB diesel engines and speeds up to 74 kilometers per hour.
