Vladen tatarsky is technically a journalist, and the supposed killer (if true) is technically a terrorist. Who doesn't enjoy treatment of Geneva Convention.

I would be careful about whatever comes out from Russia and this case is weakly tied up with Geneva Convention (if all). In case you do see connections, please specify which of the Geneva Convention documents do you refer to:
  • The First Geneva Convention "for the Amelioration of the Condition of the Wounded and Sick in Armed Forces in the Field" was the fourth update of the original 1864 convention and replaced the 1929 convention on the same subject matter.
  • The Second Geneva Convention "for the Amelioration of the Condition of Wounded, Sick and Shipwrecked Members of Armed Forces at Sea" replaced the Hague Convention (X) of 1907.[16] It was the first Geneva Convention on the protection of the victims of maritime warfare and mimicked the structure and provisions of the First Geneva Convention.
  • The Third Geneva Convention "relative to the Treatment of Prisoners of War" replaced the 1929 Geneva Convention that dealt with prisoners of war.
  • In addition to these three conventions, the conference also added a new elaborate Fourth Geneva Convention "relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War". It was the first Geneva Convention not to deal with combatants, rather it had the protection of civilians as its subject matter. The 1899 and 1907 Hague Conventions had already contained some provisions on the protection of civilians and occupied territory. Article 154 specifically provides that the Fourth Geneva Convention is supplementary to these provisions in the Hague Conventions.

Third, the Geneva convention of war only applied to national combatants
Prisoners of war must at all times be humanely treated. Any unlawful act or omission by the Detaining Power causing death or seriously endangering the health of a prisoner of war in its custody is prohibited, and will be regarded as a serious breach of the present Convention. In particular, no prisoner of war may be subjected to physical mutilation or to medical or scientific experiments of any kind which are not justified by the medical, dental or hospital treatment of the prisoner concerned and carried out in his interest.

But not terrorists or mercenaries such as the case of Al-Qaeda.
As such, al Qaeda is not in any respect like a State and lacks international legal per- sonality. It is not a Party to the Geneva Conventions, and it could not be a Party to them or to any international agree- ment. (ICRC).

The Third Geneva Convention does not apply to Al Qaeda, who are also considered ‘unlawful combatants’. This executive decision to consider all detainees as unlawful combatants, with no legal rights but who will be treated humanely, is supposed to settle the matter. There has been no review of the status of individual detainees by competent tribunals of a kind contemplated by the Third Convention (ICRC).

They still have to be humanely treated though...de jure. Although rarely exercised by the party of war.

But both are still classified as illegal combatants. And if the accusation is true, Daria Evgenievna is a terrorists doing terroristic acts.

ter·ror·ist : a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.

True but wasnt Tatarsky also calling for terrorism in his videos.

He said we will bomb their hospitals even their children also rob them.

All journalism is an exercise of selling perception and in the end a call for something/ some act, whether its direct or indirect, whether its good or bad. So yes, Vladen calling for robbing, attacks and whatever is technically journalism. Bad Journalism I must say.

What is the purpose of journalism?

“The purpose of journalism,” write Bill Kovach and Tom Rosenstiel in The Elements of Journalism, “is not defined by technology, nor by journalists or the techniques they employ.” Rather, “the principles and purpose of journalism are defined by something more basic: the function news plays in the lives of people.”

Maybe careful reading isn't a strong trait of some member here. My sentence clearly has questions if the one accused is involved 💥

Sergei Shoigu spoke about the transfer of Iskander-M to Belarus

At one of the Russian training grounds, training of Belarusian crews has begun, allegedly to protect the so-called "Union State".

The aggressor country Russia handed over to Belarus the Iskander-M which can be used to use nuclear weapons. This was stated by Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during a conference call on Tuesday, April 4.

“In addition, the Iskander-M operational-tactical missile system was handed over to the Belarusian Armed Forces. It can use both conventional and nuclear missiles,” Shoigu said.

According to him, from April 3, at one of the Russian training grounds, training of Belarusian crews on how to use the OTRK, allegedly to protect the so-called "Union State", began.

The Russian Defense Minister also said that some of the Belarusian ground attack aircraft "gained the ability to strike at enemy targets with nuclear-armed weapons."

Recall, on March 25, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Moscow had agreed with Minsk on the deployment of tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belarus.

@blackjack

Finland in NATO meant that (in war)the Russian Baltic fleet is effectively locked in Saint Petersburg. While the frontline and roads leading to Murmansk, home to the Northern fleet is now stretched for thousand of km and vulnerable.

Out of Russia's 4 high seas fleet, only the Pacific fleet is relatively safe from blockade.

Colonel General Rustam Muradov was dismissed from his post as commander of the Eastern Military District and removed from command in Ukraine just 7 months after his appointment.

Soon he may choose to drink Tea or Follow from a window

Just more info: In February, Putin awarded Muradov the rank of colonel general for a report on the "successes" of the 155th brigade in the Ugledarsky direction.
Now he is fired for incompetency, go figure out. putin's circus........... One word -> mafia

Yes. I wrote that the Russians will develop weapons again because of this war and they will be more dangerous. Objected to, it was not accepted.

Again, about this bomb, I wrote that the Russians will increase the possibilities of air to ground attack with this bomb and it will cause a lot of damage to the Ukrainian side. Objected to.

Conclusion?

Of course the Russians are going to keep working towards victory and employing whatever weapons they can. They can't afford to lose this war. I'm afraid it's all for not though, as long as Ukraine maintains staunch Western support. When you see the types of packages the USA 🇺🇸 announced today and realize they can do that every month, and there are 35+ other countries willing to help Ukraine out as well, this simply becomes a long, exhaustive war for the Russians.

Keep in mind, that the vast majority of the fighting is STILL be done done using Soviet made weapons. Gradually, Ukraine's army will become about 50/50 Soviet and Western made kit, and eventually, it will be about 75/25 Western. When that time comes, the technology edge will be desperately in favour of Ukraine, as will the training of new troops (being completed across Europe) and the morale of the defenders, vs the exhausted Russians invaders.

Bakhmut will fall, as I've said many times. However, it should have fallen months ago. The amount of resources and experienced Wagner forces being lost trying to take that small city, is ridiculous. Meanwhile, every day that Russia stalls, Ukraine gets closer and closer to being able to counter attack. More equipment arrives. More troops finish their training. More ammunition gets to its storage points and more armor reaches various staging points.

This is not going to go well for Russia, because throwing bodies at a problem not the answer in 2023. It's not 1945 anymore.

It's good that Wagner is now recognized as a Terrorist organization.
In Europe only...in the U.S they're classified as criminal orgs, but not terrorists.

Also terrorists labeling aren't that important anyway. Iran labelled the US military as terrorists not so long ago

In the end they're not going to do shit, because in both case, the Wagners and U.S military are backed by nation states. So its no biggie.

The West wold have to rally the entire world to treat Wagner as a legit terrorists force so that the label they gave to Wagner are taken seriously, which is hard because most of the country in the world has no problem with Wagners.
