Updated list of important Western armor / artillery donated to Ukraine. I've included the numbers damaged / destroyed via picture evidence according to Oryx.

M270 Rocket Artillery: 23 donated (0 damaged / destroyed)

HIMARS Rocket Artillery: 38 donated (0 damaged / destroyed)

**This isn't close to all of the donated / purchased equipment, but this is the best quality stuff that Ukraine's allies have sent them. Of note, a considerable amount of it has yet to arrive in Ukraine, further shielding it from Russian destruction. This should serve as a reminder that Ukraine still has the overwhelming majority of the Western donated tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and artillery in their inventory. In fact, the West is sending more at a rate far faster than the Russians can destroy.**

I really want to see the United States make a couple key weapons sales to Turkey, such as the new F-16s they badly want (and deserve in my opinion). In return, if I were the Americans, I would request the following package be sent to Ukraine. Turkey absolutely can do it, as I'll explain.

Turkish package for Ukraine
31x Leopard 1 MBT
50× FNSS-15 ACV-AIFV
100x BMC Kirpi MRAPS
100x M113 APCs
24x T-155 Firtina I howitzers
250,000x 155mm artillery shells
10,000x 105mm tank rounds
200 Stinger missiles

- Turkey has more than 300 Leopard 1 MBTs that are quickly going to be moved into reserve. With the introduction of 8 Altay MBTs per month moving forward, Turkey is going to roll with the Altay and Leopard 2 MBTs as their primary MBTs. Turkey's national defense won't be hindered, at all, by sending 31 (a Ukrainian battalion) Leopard 1s to Ukraine.

- The Turks have 650 FNSS IFV models, a similar number to the CV9040s that Sweden has. I'm simply asking them to make the same donation of 50 that Sweden made. A small price in the grand scheme of things.

- Turkey has more than 2000 BMC Kirpi MRAPS and can produce more quickly and efficiently. They've already committed to sending 200 of them to Ukraine and the Ukrainians are getting good use out of them. An additional 100 would help replace some of the losses to this point, while further bolstering the Ukrainian fleet.

- Like the Kirpis, Turkey has thousands of M113s, which are obsolete in their force, but widely used by the Ukrainians for infantry mobility and support. A batch of 100 of them would more than replace the number Ukraine has lost so far and bring the number in their inventory comfortably above 500.

- Turkey is quickly introducing the upgraded Firtina II self-propelled howitzers, with 140 scheduled for delivery. At that point they will be placing a number of their Firtina I's into storage anyways. Instead, I'm asking that a small percentage (24 total) be sent to Ukraine where they can equip an entire battalion (18 guns) with 6 additional guns in reserve for maintenance rotation.

- The 250,000 155mm shells is simply to keep the guns active and firing. That's about 40- 50 days worth of shells for Ukraine, which are badly needed as Ukraine buys time for The United States and Europe to ramp up shell production.

-The 10,000 105mm tank rounds are simply for for the battalion of Leopard 1 MBTs. A pretty standard amount of ammunition to keep them active in a front line batallion.

- Stinger missiles are important for Ukraine and they're in fairly short supply from the United States and Allies, as they work to ramp production up slowly. Rocketstan has built around 5000 of them for Turkey. 200 would be a small donation to help Ukraine keep their MANPADS firing and their Avenger systems working.

Nothing in that package is something that Turkey can't afford to send, nor does is degrade their national defense in any meaningful way. Meanwhile, it would bolster Ukraine's offensive efforts significantly, as they're bound to lose more equipment on the offensive than they did on the defensive and they need a constant supply of additional replacement weapons that are congruent with what they're already using. Everything in this package is. In exchange, USA should greenlight the purchase of 48 F-16V block 70 /72 model aircraft, which Turkey is deeply interested in. They should also give the Turks a "show of faith" discount in exchange for them stepping up and providing the above package that I outlined above. If sold at a price of $55 million per unit (an $8 million dollar per unit discount) it would be about $2.64 billion usd for Turkey, who could then buy extra features and weapons for them as they see fit for their needs.

This would be a tidy bit of business for all parties involved.

How about their paid but hasn't ( and it will never !! ) Received F 35 ?? Do you perhaps have a better " suggestion n solution " for the good' ole of USA ?? Well , considering things between " allies " ... Things shouldn't that difficult to negotiate no ... ??
I mean not to be sarcastic here ... But , i genuinely curious how would/could you ( hypothetically ) solve the " minor problem " there ...

I bet you would have more wisdom and suggestions that you could share to enlighten us all here . Especially for me an indonesian ... A 3rd world country that obviously sorely lack an international insight from this clusterf##k situation ... 🙏🙏

Turkey is not getting F-35s while they own Russian made S-400 SAM systems. Any reasonable person fully understands why that's an enormous liability given how many countries are going to be employing the F-35 as their front line fighter for years to come.

Turkey would already have F-35s if they didn't buy S-400 systems. They made that choice. That said, the F-16V is a fantastic, upgraded, 4th generation fighter jet, that Turkey is already very familiar with and has made it known that they really want. The USA just approved the transfer of 16 F-16s to Turkey, but the Turks want 40-50 of them. I fully support that purchase. I would also fully support Turkey receiving F-35s if it sold all of its S-400 SAM systems and purchased NATO / Western systems instead... It's nothing personal against Turkey, it's about security.

Zelensky's criticism of NATO angers US - WP

The Ukrainian leader "stirred up" the summit in Vilnius with his statement about the "weakness" of the alliance, writes The Washington Post.

Members of the US delegation were angered by Zelensky's tweet about the "uncertainty and weakness" of NATO. This was reported by The Washington Post on July 12, citing a source familiar with the situation.

If only If people from west stop for minute and check the history they will find out that. It was not about S-400.
It was and Still it is the same -> Syria war started and usa sided with PKK. They used the opportunity to create PKK state under protection of usa.
When Turkiye got so many proves that usa plan is TRUE and it is going. Then all changed -> Turkiye Reacted with all they got.
usa also reacted by not hiding it. Brutal usa campaign started -> fabricated news->usa blocking, denying, delaying any political, military meetings, co-work, shared intel etc.
Partial civil war happened in far east Turkiye by many PKK terrorists with usa weapons and battle awareness support.
A coup attempt.
Trump sending a official document with Ultimatum to Turkiye with end point that usa will declare a WAR.

All above Failed
Turkiye saw that usa devil plan will not stop. Turkiye start to prepare for long systematic soft war started by usa and later supported by germany, france, netherland as main states.

One of thread was air defense so Turkiye procure S-400. This h append because usa and europe already DID NOT GIVE it to Turkiye

There were so MANY EVENTS with FACTS happened back than that usa is decide to be ENEMY and DID and STILL doing Systematic damage to Turkiye.

S- 400 was and still is a excuse to take Turkiye out of program. It is still FACT that Turkiye was robbed by usa, talking about money, talking about contract according to Turkiye is partner and all point are fulfilled. There are F35 fighters which are Turkiye property.

We already showed this event how this happens, how this was lead by usa all time and Turkiye did not have any other option .

Please stop with this Bullshit "Cliche" F35 because of s-400

More important would be the expedited process of sending Abrams and K2 MBTs to Ukraine so that the Poles can send more of their Leopard 2s and PT-91 Twardys to Ukraine. Additionally, anything the West can do to help Poland speed up the production of Rosomak IFVs, RAK-120 self-propelled mortars, Krab 155mm howitzers, Piorun MANPADS, and all calibers of artillery, would be immensely helpful.

A crazy amount of Wagner's previously owned equipment taken over by the Ru MoD. If mercenaries like this has that many equipment, safe to say that Russians regular army aren't going to run out anytime soon.

What sticks out to me most about that footage is two things...

1). How old and beat up a lot of the equipment is. Now don't get me wrong, Ukraine is using a lot of old stuff as well, in similar condition, but it's a constant reminder that much of this equipment is Soviet era in nature, because the Soviets went to great lengths to stockpile war equipment. When those stockpiles start to run low, unless someone like China steps in with military aid for Russsia, there are going to be MASSIVE supply shortages for the Russian Army, because modern Russia has nowhere near the manufacturering capability (nor war chest) that the Soviets did.

2). Many people have talked about how much equipment Russia has in reserve, on paper. But as I've mentioned, numerous times, a significant percentage of that equipment is poorly stored, often outdoors and has spent 30+ years rusting out. It will never be used on a battlefield. The equipment we see in this video is some of the "top of the line" equipment Wagner had at its disposal and look at the condition it's in. Imagine what an up close view of a 30 year told T-72 or a 45 year old T-62 that's been sitting outside in "storage" looks like.
