I guess we can all admit the missing F-35 overshadowed the results of a kilo sub getting destroyed, and I guess turkish users here are relived they didnt buy the aircraft now. A "stealth" jet's transponder stopped working. So the pilot ejected from a plane that was capable of still flying in auto-pilot mode? But then they couldn't track the F-35 because it's transponder didn't work and it is a "stealth" jet. Why would the pilot eject if the plane could still fly? US Marine Corps has just issued a two-day "stand-down" order for "all aviation units" both "inside and outside" of the U.S. I hate to say but there is something more to this.

NATO might be laughing but still Russia gets the last laugh that a trillion dollar project got compromised. Losing a sub is nothing compared to this and the war just continues normally.

EDITL NYT is blaming ukraine for the market place tragedy, hope this isnt an early sign of cutting ties.

News starting to trickle out of Ramstein meeting.

Denmark 🇩🇰 has pledged an additional 45 tanks for Ukraine. 30 additional Leopard 1A5s, which they purchase from an arms dealer and 15 additional T-72s, which they'll purchase from a private company to have upgraded in the Czech Republic prior to being sent.

Norway 🇳🇴 will send an additional 51 transport variant M113 APCs to Ukraine to further strengthen Ukrainian logistics.

https://www.vg.no/nyheter/i/JQAWEb/...raina-handler-om-norsk-og-europeisk-sikkerhet

As previously noted, Germany 🇩🇪 will send an additional $428 million usd worth of military aid to Ukraine, focusing on artillery and mortar shells, air defense missiles, winter supplies and generators.

Geez Europe, Ukraine and Russia sure have some of the d*mbest leaders in history, they are way beyond saving.
Europe will ruin its economy completely supporting this war and pouring weapons upon weapons into Ukraine and Russia is going to destroy its male population for decades to come (Ukraine will destroy its male population too btw)
What a bounch of inept mor*ns instead of sitting down and negotiating something to stop this mindless bloodshed (in before someone says thats impossible, anything is possible if both sides are willing to do it, hence my point that they are all a bounch of id*ots who care nothing about human lives, I think most people here can't even comprehend the vast amount of human lives and families ruined by this war and that keeps growing. For people like Stoltenberg, Putin, Zelensky etc.... its all easy... just papers and orders... they are not the ones fighting and dying, its the common people.)

Europe and the West put up exponentially more money for Covid-19 relief than they have this war. The West spent something like $4 Trillion usd combined on Covid-19 and they survived that just fine. They've spent less than $200 billion usd combined on thr war in Ukraine. We're talking pennies by comparison. Furthermore, roughly 60% of eveything sent to Ukraine already existed in Western inventories. It was already bought and paid for. Largely, the West is not commissioning massive spending to purchase new items for Ukraine. It's happening in some capacity, but overwhelmingly, they've taken from exisiting stocks of vehicles that were retired / are in the process of being replaced.

Food for thought. The USA alone spends $850 billion usd per year on defense. That means $1.7 Trillion usd over two years. The COLLECTIVE West will spend about $200 Billion on Ukraine over 2 years, about 1/9th of USA's defense budget over that time, divided by 30+ countries.

We've literally spent peanuts on Ukraine. Canada has sent Ukraine $8 billion CAD over 2 years. The previous 2 years they spent $600 billion CAD on covid-19 relief.

Furthermore, the West has frozen $350 Billion usd worth of Russian assets. Those assets can be liquidated at any point to further fund the war and / or reimburse Europe and the West.

Your post is deeply misguided regarding our spending and our ability to continue to spend. If you think I'm wrong (I'm not) you're going to have to provide ample evidence to the contrary. I don't think you're properly grasping the collective spending power of thr West, particularly when most of what is being sent was paid for decades ago.

Oh I never said the west, read my post again, I said Europe.
The USA and Canada are perfectly fine, its Europe that suffers the most from this, not only from sending military equipment but also from focusing production on producing ammunition etc... also on the fact that they have problem with energy now compared to pre war, its affecting Europe the most, the USA and Canada are fine.
And my point was also mostly about humans, there are tens of thousand of people dying in this war and many more will keep dying, I feel like this war will take forever, its such a shame that so many people will be lost, generations and generations, because of these leaders.

range estimates are suggesting the lancet travelled 66kms more than what was advertised at 40kms.

lancet production getting bumped up and introduction of 3 new kamikaze drones these past 2 weeks makes it seem they have a new electronics production plant open right now.

The European Commission proposes to extend temporary protection for refugees from Ukraine

Temporary protection may be extended until March 2025.

The war in Ukraine may continue for another 6-7 years

As journalists write, this is much longer than many Western officials expected at the beginning of this year.

The United States and its G7 allies believe that the war in Ukraine could drag on for years and are factoring that possibility into their military and financial planning. A senior official in one of the European G7 countries said the war could continue for another six to seven years.

As Bloomberg writes, this is much longer than many Western officials expected earlier this year. But slow progress in Ukraine's counteroffensive in recent months has tempered expectations, journalists say.

The Kremlin is considering a scenario for the full mobilization of Russians for war, - GUR

Russia, several tens of thousands of people are mobilized every month

Losses among the personnel of the Russian occupiers are really large

During his speech at the UN General Assembly, Zelensky said that the world is now on the verge of nuclear war

1695148370671.png

▪️Ukraine gave away its entire nuclear arsenal, and Russia betrayed it. Russia deserves disarmament even now: terrorists do not have the right to possess nuclear weapons.

▪️ Russia turns nuclear energy into a weapon. Look at what the Russian Federation did to our Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant: shelled it, occupied it, and now blackmails others with the threat of a radiation leak.

▪️russia is trying to use the food shortage on the world market as a weapon in exchange for recognizing the occupation of some — if not all — captured territories. Russia uses food prices as a weapon.

▪️Every decade, Russia starts a new war. Parts of the territory of Moldova and Georgia remain occupied. Russia has turned Syria into ruins. And if it weren't for Russia, chemical weapons would never have been used there. Russia has almost absorbed Belarus, threatens Kazakhstan and the Baltic states.

▪️Unfortunately, various terrorist groups have abducted children before, but never before have mass abductions and deportations become part of state policy. Until today. Abducted Ukrainian children in Russia are taught to hate Ukraine, and all ties with their families are severed. This is genocide.

Footage of an attack by a Ukrainian HIMARS MLRS missile made in the USA on a Russian Tor-M2 air defense system. A civilian drone was used for surveillance, apparently small in size, and the Tor-M2 air defense system apparently could not notice it. Judging by the video, as a result of the HIMARS MLRS missile strike, the crew and the Tor-M2 air defense system were not injured, as the installation continued its work

The first case of a Lancet drone hitting a Ukrainian MiG-29 aircraft. Footage has been published of the first strike of the Russian kamikaze drone “Lancet” on the MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force. This is the first time such a drone strike has been recorded in Ukraine. Reportedly, the Lancet drone strike was recorded at the Krivoy Rog airfield Dolgintsevo, 70 kilometers from the front line. This confirms that the Lancet drone can strike targets at a range of up to 70 kilometers.
