How quickly do you think they will be able to switch to perhaps Chinese or Russian-made alternatives? Eg. Yandex or Youku by Alibaba
For example, the Russians where developing SPFS (which was an alternative to Swift made by Russia) but that was said to take quite a long time before it can be implemented.
Maybe websites could take less time. It seems like the Russians will implement a China-like style of internet control: It will be interested to see how the population, mostly the youth will react.
