I know they've done atrocious things in Bosnia, and yes, probably them too, but I don't know if the majority are like that in Serbia. IMO they have a lot more intellectual people than Russians and Armenians who are not OK with what those monsters did but again, you as a Bosnian are more aware of the situation over there, so I'd take your word for it.

War is entering in a new stage, in Russia the idea of having big loses and Nato nations providing offensive weapons, is starting to spread along politicians and population. I sadly believe this is a prelude of a, many times said before, a worl war.
I've wrote at the beginnings, Merkel might not be in such big mistake going ahead with Nord Stream II if in a near future Germany gets it's gas from an independent nation from todays Russia.
USA has the big voice here, as we seen contesting German decisions helping a nation which is against their own interests in a close future, facing the real deal, China.
I think USA, for years, gave a big oportunity to russians for being part of those who speak in the face and not hiding their real intentions behind who say "we are the real power, you should join us". In the failure of that offer, Russia will get a punishment that will leave it out of any important decision in the world and most important, the only thing they seem to offer to, the war and raw materials, for the next decades.
Let me explain it better, the places were raw matterials are being extracted are not the places were the best way of living is lived. Higher standards of life are near Europe and the rest of that enormous territory it's just a place for planting a nice flag and claim all the benefit without higher living standards in return, also in the absence of reliable sources, a great mayority of soldiers, dying today in Ukraine, are from those places.
We could argue why Putin got a democracy that began and now it's an autocracy with the best propaganda.
As you know frontiers and powers doesn't change it's limits too much as the war does, and from WW2 there wasn't a big chance to do it.
Dices are cast, it's being clear Russia wants to keep on, and even if occidental powers want to stop the war at any point, it will became really diffucult as Ukranians will not want to give up until their land returns to their hands.
As Japan found a big opportunity in WW2, we could expect China will do the same and this is just "Hey what do you want? a bit of peace and money or just break all we built for many years". WW1 guys, the similarities with Hitler's Germany are not a disguise for this nation, which lost their train for decades, not happy with it's possition in world today and involved in a war in which the worst case scenario begins to show. Russia campaign inside ww3 ? We should face and be accountable for what it's being casted.
