I'm not going to convince anybody about something like this. Both sides publish their numbers... but there is no "consistency" when the "2nd largest military power" sent almost 200k troops into a country like Ukraine and they had to, "following their statemets", mobilize 300k civilians, recruit wagners in prisons, and even send people from other countries...Again what your saying was the point i was making Oryx makes Ukrainians look like Rambos but the Rambos are getting butchered really bad when they get interviewed......I am sure you and most pro-ukraine users would be screaming Hell No!!! at me if I told you that Shoigu states 5,937 Russian soldiers have died in September 21, 2022 since the February 24,2022 operation and General Surovkin states losses of October we get 12,000 dead ukrainian soldiers and since he said 7-8 times less losses that is 1,500-1,714 and this about lines up almost consistently to what Shoigu said. Back at the beginning of February 150k-190k were involved at the start of the operation 80k of these were moved back to the border of Russia in which they do rotations for the operation and even Putin stated few weeks ago that there are currently 80k troops mixed with the reserves in the operation, in other words Russian sources have stayed consistent
Since I am very Pro-Ukrainian like alot of users here i will use Surovikin's 1,714 estimate than the 1,500 number estimate and add it on to 5,937 Russians we get 7,437 dead Russians, now we have to add the 80k part according to putin to the the 398k soldiers since we got the reserves and the ones that have left to just be close to Ukraine's border so we have 478k Russian soldiers in total. So 7,437 divded by 478,000 Ukraine is about 1.5% of they way done removing all the Russian invaders. But Shoigu says we have 20 million reservists ready and there is like 1,150,000 active duty troops so divide 7,437 by 21,150,000 Ukraine is about .00035% of the way there. EVERYONE HERE WILL CRY BULLSHIT which is also the reason why i gave sources instead of any soldier that gets interviewed and western journalists interviewing Ukrainians was just the perfect opportunity that I couldn't miss to find the truth.
No offense but I knew that many pro-Ukraine users would function like zombies here going muhh oryx, Ukraine sources > Russian sources, Slava Ukraina!!! which is specifically why I used western sources which pro-ukraine users here like and the moment any Ukrainian soldier gets interviewed it immediately destroys any Rambo claims from Oryx. But even you dont seem convinced about Ukrainian soldiers being interviewed (no Russians holding guns to their heads to make up BS) and their operation was in early September where they were making gains. Many pro-ukraine users on this thread can tell me to go fuck off but the ones that serious about this war should know this to.
I think we want to know the reallity, despite supporting one side or the other... I don't want to do whisful thinking with such thing.
Everybody here knows loses from both sides are big, but we can't trust on any "official" source, only independent ones, and Oryx can give us an aproximate idea, as it relies on **visual confirmed** loses, not Shoygu mouth. I won't trust on any other source that doesn't provide proofs for fitting into my wishes.
There are thousands of videos of RU casualities over internet, but what's the point of posting them here without a proper context or to support a statement?
Who is asking about negotiations for months? Who had to retreat from 5 fronts since the start of the invasion? Who is launching hundreds of cruise missiles every week against civil infrastructure in the verge of the winter? Who is asking for equipment to countries like Iran or North Korea? Does Russia have air dominance over UKR skies? Who is sending mobiks to the new "gulag" at tank factories for example? Retrofiting T-62 tanks?
Gas prices are a bit high but nothing comparable to what RU propaganda is saying:
European Union Natural Gas Import Price
In depth view into European Union Natural Gas Import Price including historical data from 1960 to 2023, charts and stats.

RU can make some significant offensive, for sure, but war is not affecting West at all, at least in my country, right now the inflation is lowering every month and the main problem is the beer raised from 2€ to 3€ and there is no enough waiters for bars, they had to raise the salaries to recruit them, and of course, raising beer prices again.
What's happening right now is West countries sending new equipment, supplies, ammo, money, medicines, winter cloths, almost every day coordinated by US for not reaching a point of mayor scalation... It is safe to say time is running against RU despite the efforts of their propaganda.
I don't know if something changed a lot, but I've seen docens of videos of RU trenches, full of waste, with no water drains, lack of tools or basic equipment, and that is consistent with troops not being motivated enough on attacking an inocent country, obvious, that is something in the winter would make a huge difference.
