In Moscow, the strengthening of air defense began, it is not known what this is connected with, but the Pantsir-S1 air defense missile system was installed on the roof of one of the buildings. Perhaps this was done to protect against drones, since it is difficult for anti-aircraft systems to fix them in urban areas.

The artillery crew of the Russian 152 mm D-20 howitzers spoke about their combat work in Ukraine. Howitzer firing range exceeds 17 kilometers

The electronic warfare station of the Ukrainian army came under attack from the Russian Lancet kamikaze drone.

A soldier of PMC "Wagner" spoke about the tactics of taking settlements in Ukraine. During the interview, there was a Ukrainian mine strike nearby, despite this he calmly spoke about the situation in Soledar.

For the first time, a grenade dropped from a drone was shot down in Ukraine. Ammunition dropped from a Ukrainian drone was able to shoot down a Russian serviceman from small arms.

Turkish company Karpowership signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ukrainian national company JSC Energy Company of Ukraine (ECU) for the rapid supply of 500 megawatt capacity floating power plants to Ukraine.

According to Karpowership's statement, floating power plants will meet the electricity needs of 1 million households. It is expected that the floating power plants will be placed in the ports of Moldova and Romania and will generate electricity to Ukraine through these countries.

What's the difference between getting bombed by ordinary cruise missile and kinzhal ?
the Kinzhal , as stated by russian media , is dedicated to destroy carrier strike groups , and heavily defended airspace and deep bunkers , regarding its high speed and maneuverability

Russian economy is feeling the strain...

Russia’s finance ministry has today proposed scrapping liquidity restrictions for spending on “anti-crisis” investments from its National Wealth Fund (NWF), citing the need to support key sectors amid challenging geopolitical conditions.

Reuters reports:
Russia’s fiscally conservative authorities have tended to be cautious in their use of NWF funds.
Thursday’s move suggests they want to be more creative in the way they maintain Russia’s economic health, as Moscow ramps up spending on what it calls its “special military operation” in Ukraine.
The ministry also said it would seek to reduce the threshold at which investments in other financial assets from the rainy day fund can be made to 7% of gross domestic product (GDP) from 10% currently, according to draft proposals.
“Introducing amendments to article 9611 of the budget code is aimed at making it possible to finance high-priority, self-sustaining infrastructure projects using the National Wealth Fund and to make anti-crisis investments regardless of the size of the (fund’s) liquid assets,” the ministry said in an explanatory note.
“These changes will ensure reliable support for key sectors of the Russian economy in the current challenging geopolitical and macroeconomic conditions,” the ministry said.
The NWF is Russia’s sovereign wealth fund, built up through years of profits on the country’s oil and gas exports. As of Jan. 1, the fund stood at $148.4 billion, equivalent to 7.8% of GDP, having dropped by $38.1 billion in December, as the government took out cash to plug its budget deficit.

Looks like a huge overcommitment of resources to use against anything except a Patriot protected stronghold or a carrier group

Please note that Kinzhal is nothing more than an Iskander missile integrated on to a Mig 31K jet, which increases it’s overall effective range.
Iskander missiles, in spite of all the hype about them, were successfully intercepted at Karabakh, by the Israeli built Barak-8 missiles.
As stated above, if meant for carrier group destruction, then using them for ground attacks in Ukraine seems to be an expensive way to waste resources.

I was just writing what the Russians claim , and yes i know the Kinzhal is a copy of Iskander-M but with enhanced seekers and engine , maybe the Russians tried to test it in real-life battlefield , it is stated to take out a whole CSG , regarding the huge velocity and warhead weight ( probably bogus )

Also , it is stated to overcome NATO's missile defense shield ( Aegis, THAAD and Patriots ) , just like the Iskander-M , which it was lately proven bogus , regarding that it was shot downed with a Barak 8 system in Azerbaïdjan , and in another case , missed its target by kilometers

So, president Biden is talking about delivery of 2x battalion western tanks to Ukraine.
Thus, Ukraine would able to deploy them in two different fronts along with previously announced 2x battalion Bradley and Mardar.
On Eastern front, roughly 2x combined armed battalion of Abrams and Bradley would be like SHOCK AND AWE for already ill equipped Russians, who are running very low on moral.

I cant wait to see these two beast in action together and fulfill their destiny!

Probably, regardless it smells a bit of "everything including the kitchen sink" if they start taking potshots with their self-proclaimed Wunderwaffe at targets that aren't very valuable from a military standpoint. I haven't kept up with the people counting expected cruise missile stocks in Russia of late...
