Excellent post. I am thinking the conscripts are fodder disposible and meant to keep Ukranian National Guard busy and wear them out before the big boys come.

Russia has as far as I remember 140k fully professional army with topline gear provided by west.

But this on the otherhand is giving ukraine the time to ask for the much needed support, the last couple days delivered them more than entire timeline of the war probably.
Even germany could get over it and is sending real weapon now.
