Ukraine has the right to attack the territory of Russia - British Ministry of Defense
IMG_20220426_162609_156.jpg

British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said that Ukraine has every right to attack Russian territory - London does not mind if Western weapons are used for this.

Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Armed Services James Happy added that weapons from the West even have the range needed to do so. 😉

A missile attack in the Zatoka region of the Odessa region.
IMG_20220426_162845_940.jpg

It is also reported that the bridge from Zatoka towards Belgorod-Dnestrovsky is blocked.

Transdinyester is being blocked.
Damage to the bridge in the Zatoka region greatly complicates logistics in the Odessa region.

If the damage is serious, the southern part of the region is cut off from Odessa.

This bridge is the most important transport artery connecting Odessa with the Romanian border. In addition, this bridge is the only road and rail link with three districts of the Odessa region - Izmailsky, Bolgradsky and Belgorod-Dnestrovsky.

IMHO Ukraine might hit Kerch bridge for retaliation.

MAM-L are not powerful enough, while Tochka-U aren't long range enough nor it's accurate enough.

My best guess, is special forces sent to blow up the bridge. But that won't come easy as the bridge is now heavily guarded.

You didn't understand me. This bridge was hit by Russians. So for retaliation Ukraine will hit Kerch bridge which connects Crimea with Russia.

Assalamu'alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh to Muslim.
Good day to Others.

I think the Russians are delusional, their assault on Kiev turned into a complete failure, trying to open a new front even further away will be another grand failure.

It reminds me of the proverb, " a drowning man will even grab onto a snake".

To me it looks like the war in Ukraine is pretty much done for Russia, more and more heavy weapons are entering Ukraine and its really just a matter of time now before the east is liberated.

After ukraine the goal was to reach moldova. Their plans of taking back land in europe is gone to the toilet.

Russians failed in Europe they will turn their attention towards Central Asia and the Caucasus.

Russians form a big minority in Kazakhstan. Population is big enough to rebel 😮

The trojan horse is already there!!

Russians had their own lebensraum in Central Asia.

Kill all the Turkic people and settle in these lands.

Kazakhstan was hit hard the most. Turkmenistan barely had any Russian settlers because it was barren also constant Turkmen attacks on Russian soldiers and settlers made it a hard place to control.

Due to this the Turkmens exploits even made its way into British news and the Ottoman Empire.

I really hope you are right. The question is how far they are willing to go, and how many civilians they are willing to sacrifice. The Russian economy is well in the toilet by now, they won't be able to replace equipment losses like tanks and missiles. Poverty rates and unemployment will also skyrocket as more and more companies leave Russia. It will take them years and years to recover.

That opens up for a pretty scary scenario where Putin figures there is nothing left to lose and escalates into a tac-nuke on Kiev just to shut Zelenskyy up.
Considering his inner circle i doubt anyone there will have the strength to stop him if he would decide to cross that final rubicon. Accepting a humiliating defeat and/or a decade or so of economic stagnation and crippling sanctions could be impossible for him to swallow.

The best case scenario, at least from the non-russian side would be an utter defeat for Russia, 1945 rather than 1918. Revanchism from the defeat would be huge and they still have a ton of nukes. Rather not see someone even more unstable than Putin in charge of that arsenal

Military defeats in ww1 led to the Tsar getting overthrown.

Perhaps it can happen here.

Russians cant accept defeat no matter what. They will find something to save face.

Turkey can block Sweden with or without fixing their situation with pkk since turkey at the moment are grinding them with Sweden support

but it take a brave and strong man to do it , Erdogan is way far from being a such . In fact he will just take this as an opportunity to lick some western shoes because frankly he is good at it .
Erdogan should see how people he sacrificed our historically good relationship with Israel for, talk about him, LOL!
What they say about Arabs is not a lie then.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I hope it happens here too... But there is no opposition or strong popular movement that could spark it. I mean the guy has spent decades systematically eradicating all opposition, and a decent part of the russian population still like him.

A popular uprising would take a long time to foment to the point where they could stage a coup I think, and they would have FSB breathing down their necks instantly. Russias top generals seem to be a bunch of twits who couldn't organise a coup even with a how-to guide and cue-cards. FSB would have the resources but they are so solidly pro-Putin that it would take a miracle to shift them. Is there anyone else?
