Europe is actively supplying Russia with a fantastic amount of money by buying oil and gas. But still, the Russian budget had a deficit of US$880 billion by the end of July of this year. Therefore, big difficulties for Russia will begin in a year, by the end of the summer of 2023, when social obligations will be limited.

Yesterday Ukrainians reported about the arrival of UN Secretary General and Turkish President Erdogan in Lviv. Erdogan wants to act as a peacemaker, using negotiations with the sale of bread. Ukrainians argue that it is extremely unprofitable for them to agree to peace talks, where Russia will insist on the annexation of the occupied territories to Russia, and they are not happy with Erdogan's mediation. None of the Western allies offered Ukraine to negotiate peace. Because even if there is peace, Russia will take full advantage of the respite and attack again, no doubt.

And caused a refugee crisis on our border by bombing mosques, hospitals, marketplaces and water facilities.

Whatever the Russians did in Syria are now doing it in Ukraine in a much worse form.

Us Turks should stop fearing the Russian bear. We need to be united really. Even with we dont trust nato.

Wolves take on bears by working together.

An episode of the work of the Ukrainian drone Bayraktar Mini made in Turkey. The drone is carrying out reconnaissance and is trying to aim Ukrainian artillery at one of the Russian armored vehicles, the quality of the video does not allow us to discern its type. The armored vehicle was not hit by Ukrainian artillery strikes

Published footage of the strike of the Russian self-propelled guns 2S9 "Nona-S" on the Ukrainian gun. The target coordinates were obtained from the Orlan-10 UAV, the type of the destroyed weapon is difficult to discern due to the low quality of the video.

Well known Russian propagandist post about general situation. Some sum up:

1) There is huge manpower hunger in Russian army.
2) Entire companies are wiped out.
3) Often Russian artillery is suppressing Ukrainian positions, but there is not enough men to conduct attack.
4) The most effective force in Russian camp are Vagner ,mercenaries. But unfortunately (for him) there is not enough of them.

So Russia started a war to "demilitarize" Ukraine, but instead they demilitarized themselves. They lost some 1000 tanks (out of 2600 in active units before the war). They fired over 3000 ballustic and cruise missiles depleting their stocks. They suffered huge losses in manpower and now recruiting old alcoholics and criminals in jails.

Even in the beginning of this war Russian army was trash, but now its double trash. And due to sanctions they will never return back to pre 24 feb level.

Russians still have insane number of artillery, old but still doing a job. Ukrainians totaly lack air force and have little number of artillery to effectively counter Russian artillery.

Not really, Syria didn't even get 1% of the attention Ukraine has.

There a whole City the size of Aleppo getting pummelled and no one really cares.

Now that Russia is doing it on Europe suddenly everyone awakes to the Russian menace.

Ukraine for all its tragedy actually has the help it needs. As @Jagdflieger once said. Their refugees aren't hunted instead given jobs and integrated to society.

At a meeting with Erdogan, Zelensky said, that is, he repeated an earlier statement, that first Russia must withdraw its troops from all the occupied territories of Ukraine, only after that negotiations are possible. Putin urgently needed a truce.

There goes your mediator role, Mr President :sneaky:
To be fair, being mediator when one of the sides is Russia is less productive than to talk against a wall.
Turkey is one of the first countries in history to know how well Russian honor any treaty.

Pissing in the wind is more productive then holding discussions with Russia, especially when it concerns peace.

I'm sorry if it's a bit offtopic but I think its worth to be mentioned here.
Gorvachev was in charge at that time, it was September 1991, Soviet Union was having a bad time, questioned inside and outside, facing a recent coup and social disenchantment, for the first time a big concert with west bands was allowed.
We can discuss a lot about the reasons when soviet republics wanted their independence and a life close to freedom values, but it happened.
Top metal rock bands like Pantera, Metallica or AC/DC arrived on Moscow for the first time. Used to stay on the best hotels, at a plastic tent they had to share space and prepare for the show.

As many of you already know, I'm speaking about the most trascendent and historial concert of all times, Monsters of Rock 1991 in Moscow.

Different estimations about attendance were released, but what is commonly known that at least 1.5 million people assisted Metallica show as one of the most iconic moments of Rock and history, leaving Woodstock as a mere trial.

After several calls to stop the violence against the militarization of the concert and security forces, people joined pacefuly the spectacle and released their deepest emotions in a moment where flags hadn't any sense.

Most people who assisted to this moment had between 20 and 30 years, will have today between 50 and 60 years, those people who probably know what is going to happen not in a long time. Their fathers worked so hard to pay all the miliarty hardware which is being trashed today in Ukraine and believes his country should represent a closer reality and what a life should be: sacrifice but freedom, enjoyment and respect to others beliefs.

Let Putin give his last kicks in Enerhodar nuclear plant, recruiting people without a future and send them to their last adrenaline discharge, next big concert will be held at Sebastopol and freedom will once again flood the illusions of our people and the whole world.

What brings down or up ideas and societies is real power, nazi Germany is part of history and brainwashing was washed by real power, that's the only reason it felt. You got the flag, you'll put a new one.

Don't forguet if they are called orcs or thugs, west people wants that people join us in global challenges as brothers.

In 1991, the Soviet Union collapsed. The economy was in decline, the shops were empty. Then delays with salaries began, workers were fired from state farms. The birth rate has fallen sharply, crime, alcoholism and mortality have risen. Russia then lost several million people. More intellectually developed massively moved to Israel, the USA, Western Europe.
Since then, Russians have been allergic to Western democratic values. The Russians had the "Weimar Syndrome" of the death of a great power. "Weimar Syndrome" is a common term. Mass revanchist mood in the former Empire, which did not accept its defeat, did not recognize its moral justice, historical inevitability. Putin took full advantage of this phenomenon, promising to revive the great power. To do this, he eliminated (fired, secretly killed) hundreds of independent journalists, statesmen of the opposition. On television, they began to promote the great past of the state, the sins of the United States in Yugoslavia, Iraq, Afghanistan, the victory over Germany in the Second World War was praised in every possible way.
A cult of Stalin arose in Russia as the savior of the fatherland, the conqueror of Germany. Stalin became a god for millions of Russians, he ousted Christ.
