Explosions were heard in the area of the Crimean bridge - social networks

Explosions were heard near the Crimean bridge

Explosions were heard near the village of Yakovenkovo. At least three explosions were reported.

On the night from Friday to Saturday, explosions were heard in the temporarily Russian-occupied city of Kerch in Crimea. They thundered in the area of the illegally built Crimean bridge. Monitoring Telegram channels wrote about this on Saturday, August 5.

Also, photos of the glow in the area of the crossing were published on the network.

RosSMI reported that the Crimean bridge was blocked, the lighting on it was turned off, and evacuation was being carried out from the crossing.

The Russian Federation has already announced the attack of "Ukrainian drones" in the Kerch Strait - surface and air.

The Center of the Vessel Traffic Control Service of the Kerch Strait with the call sign "Kavkaz-Traffic" reports that "there are incidents." Vessels at anchor were ordered to increase surveillance.

Meanwhile, a traffic jam has already formed on the Crimean bridge.

At the same time, russian military bloggers claim that there was already an attempt to attack the Crimean bridge, but the bridge itself was not damaged in the end.

Three surface drones were destroyed in the Kerch Strait, said Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement.

@Anmdt 🤨

EDİT:

A tanker, under the Russian flag, was hit by naval drones

The Sig tanker, which was allegedly struck by an unknown surface drone, delivered aviation fuel from Crimea to Syria, for which it was included in the US sanctions list

The most interesting thing is that to the south of the bridge there are more than 100 units. boats, bulk carriers, tugboats and other boats (civilian and military) which are placed in such a way .

Two weeks ago, the Ministry of Defense warned Russia.

all ships in the Black Sea, which go in the direction of seaports of the Russian Federation, will be considered as military targets

The problem is, we are not in war with Belarus so army is not suppose to shot some helicopters that for the first time for some seconds just flew few kilometers over our country (and of course we couldnt do that, HOW and with what).
BUT, people are pissed, government will have to do something and that provocation is bringing us a step closer to the open conflict.
We were not in war with Russia either but thats the only language they understand.

Isn't there a mainly German led NATO brigade in Lithuania acting as a tripwire force? Deploy it to the gap. What's the big worry here? Germans acting up again?
Outside of deployments, looks like we're basically where were we a century ago. Yay for fascism. Because this is what this is. No ifs, no buts.

There's indeed a German led NATO battlegroup in Lithuania, but the deportations are either Lithuania deporting known spies, or just them deporting Russians for no reasons because they can.

Effectively Immediately

Ukraine's maritime authorities make it now official:
According to Ukrainian Coastal Warning 118, six ruzzian sea ports along the ruzzian Black Sea coast are declared areas of "War Risk" and by doing so declaring those areas to Combat Areas .
The warning comes effectively immediately and is valid until further notice.

It is like putin announced a Black Sea Blockade..... and then Ukraine Enforced IT

If we discover a large amount of hydrocarbon reserves in the Black Sea, I think the Ukrainian-Russian War will evolve into a completely different dimension.

What do you guys think? What do you think would happen in such a situation?

Neither Ukraine nor Russia would even look funny to any discovery Turkey makes on its own EEZ.

I dont worry, theres no one that can rival Turkey in the black sea.
In fact, lets just hope the Russian are really that dumb and try to be like stalin who was threatening Turkey, would be fun seeing the remainder of their black sea fleet hugging the sea floor.

This topic was solved decades ago among the black sea bordering countries, Turkeys EEZ borders are clearly defined.

That used to be case until 2014. Russia claims Crimea EEZ as its own, something we disagree on. According to Russian view, Turkey and Ukraine are no longer sea neighbors. This doesn't change much re our own EEZ, but is a problem.
