Footage of a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile striking a Ukrainian Buk-M1 air defense system. The video was filmed near the village of Tokari, Sumy region of Ukraine. The Buk-M1 air defense system, together with a pickup truck, was moving to a camouflaged position in a forest belt.

The Buk-M1 air defense system was adopted by the USSR in 1983. As of 2024, Ukraine had about 50 Buk-M1 air defense systems, and there may have been supplies from other countries.

A Russian drone tracked the entire route of the Buk-M1 air defense system. After that, the air defense was hit by an Iskander-M missile with a high-explosive fragmentation warhead. The Iskander missile exploded nearby, presumably damaging the Buk-M1 air defense system.

The shitty european character in a nutshell. How about you Poles stop being cowards and intervene to help Ukraine directly, since you know if they take Ukraine you are 100% next.

For all the failings of the Turks, war doesn't worry us. If it comes it comes.
I can find more contradictory statements from Erdogan during the years, love Assad/ hate Assad,etc.....literally dozens, without labeling politicians being politicians as " shitty Turkish character in a nutshell ".

Update...No one called you to fight in Ukraine, but for more cooperation, take it or leave it.
I for one I'm happy with working with Turkey so far,see Bayraktar acquisitions or,even better ,the Otokar deal( whose factory may serve as a hub for further European market inroads).
If that irks you, believe me,the EU will survive without it,but,it's a win win situation.

My prediction is this.

Putin accepts the ceasefire but only with conditions that are favorable to Russia. Zelensky wants to back out but the Trump regime pressures him to keep the ceasefire in place.

They then begin the longer term negotiations, but Russia keeps moving the goalposts and acting as if anything Ukraine is willing to accept is simply not acceptable to Russia. In the meantime, the Russians will continue to sew seeds of anger in Trump, who wants to be seen as the "peacemaker", and Putin will pressure Trump to, again, become frustrated with Zelensky for not accepting a deal that favours Russia 80% / 20%.

The wildcard then becomes the EU, backed by Britain, Norway and Canada. If the Americans give up on Zelensky because Putin forces Trump into his typical childlike tantrum, will the "coalition of the willing" so what's required to step in and fill the gaps in Ukraine? That includes the following, for the record...

1. Ratchet up financial and military support to Kyiv as levels not yet seen in the war. I'm talking about multi-year commitment worth north of $100 Billion usd.

2. Agree to put troops into Western Ukraine, along with reinforced air defense, far away from the contact line(s), but into a situation where Ukraine can focus all of it's forces at the front, featuring significant amounts of modern Western weaponry.

Time will tell, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the war is far from over at this point.

My prediction:No ceasefire or any deal, the war goes on but Ukraine gets better weapons to actually do something against the Russians.

Yes, the Europeans want the war to end but not at the cost of a sovereign democratic state surrendering and disappearing after being attacked by an autocratic dictatorship. Allowing Russia to gain from its aggression would encourage it to start further wars against neighbouring states.

As for sending more stuff, the Europeans are sending more stuff and will continue to send more and more stuff until there is a peace agreement with solid security guarantees for Ukraine or Russia has more or less bankrupted itself, can no longer fund the war and is thereby forced to stop.

An episode of combat work of the Ukrainian IRIS-T SLM air defense system. The IRIS-T SLM medium-range air defense system has been produced in Germany since 2014. The video shows the interception of a Russian Kh-101 cruise missile using the IRIS-T SLM air defense system. The video was filmed in Ukraine, the specific location of the shooting is not reported.

Rare footage of Russian drones "Forpost-RU" and "Orion" working together in Ukraine. Technical information about them is in the links to the video in the comments to the video. The video was filmed near the village of Grunovka, Sumy region of Ukraine, on the border with the Kursk region of Russia. In the first part of the video, the drone "Forpost-RU" with the help of a guided bomb KAB-20S destroys a pontoon crossing over the Psel River. Later, a Ukrainian truck "MAN" appears in this area, carrying a tank on a lowboy. The Russian drone "Orion" attacks it with the help of an "X-UAV" missile. Judging by the video, both drones worked accurately on the targets.

Nope,that's you,and a minority.
We want the war to end,but not with Russia as a conqueror, I would even forego legal punishment for the Russians if that leads to peace.
That would unfortunately lead to a dsngerous precedent , Putin being a class A criminal, like Tojo,Hitler, Saddam, etc, escaping justice would be detrimantal to international law.

I've just seen videos with Ukrainian POW's captured in Kursk, summarily executed by the Russians.

Peace deal with such horrible creatures....It disgusts me,in all honesty
You need to be honest now.
Didnt you already know that with the weapons supplied to Ukraine at the beginning of the war there was no chance Ukraine could defeat the Russians?
We all knew, everything was sent to keep Russia bussy,no real weapons were given.
And now they wake up when its almost to late and Trumps ridiculous comments?
Horrible or not,the whole world knew what Russians are and still did nothing to stop them.
Why not some Tomahawks to Moscow and St Petersburg, why no F-16s from the start(3 months speed training),why no ships to attack Crimea,Scalp,Meteor,Nsm etc.
When all of the above was active, you think Russia would dare?
The US played around,Europe was Chickenshit(Ursula von der Leyen),the Germans were afraid of losing cheap gas which the US made sure the lost(US sabotaged the pipeline).

As expected, the Russians are not going to accept the ceasfire. The ball will be back on Trump’s court.

So far, all he managed to achieve was for Russia to recover Sudzha and capture many Ukrainia soldiers, because of him cutting the intelligence during a critical time.

Let’s see what the “master of the deal” will do next, and how will he find a way to blame it on Zelensky and avoid criticizing Putin.

Ofcourse everyone is against the continuing,we all want Russia to withdraw to pre 2014 borders, pay for the reconstruction of Ukraine, have Putin trialed in Hague.
If these minimal conditions are met,we can enjoy peace, hopefully. I sure hope Russia accepts this offer.

Rare close-up footage of a Russian FAB-3000 bomb hitting the Kursk region of Russia. The video was filmed by a Ukrainian drone. The FAB-3000 bomb was dropped by a Russian Su-34 aircraft at a temporary deployment point of the Ukrainian army in one of the villages. The size of the bomb and the installed UMPK module are clearly visible. Technical information about the FAB-3000 bomb is in the link to the video in the comments to the video.
