Poland will send 100+ Oncilla infantry mobility vehicles to Ukraine in 2025. The vehicle is being produced by Polish company MISTA and features a 14.5mm machine gun and upgraded armor. In the video, the Tor-M2 air defense missile system shoots down a Ukrainian Valkyrie UAV using a 3M338K missile. The latest version of the Tor-M2 air defense missile system can detect air targets at a range of up to 32 km and hit them at a range of up to 16 km. An interesting fact is that NATO tested the Tor-M1 air defense missile system in Greece, and the results of these tests highly praised the air defense system. Based on its overall characteristics, the Tor-M2 air defense missile system still has no analogues in the world in its air defense class.

Britain has announced the imminent delivery of 5 additional Raven Air Defense systems to Ukraine to supplement the previous 8 systems that they sent earlier in the war. The Raven is a "FrankenSam" of sorts. It features a Supercat HMT-600 vehicle, mounted with British made ASRAAM missiles. It's used primarily to intercept Shahed drones and Russian cruise missiles.

This marks the 3rd public commitment from a Western country this week to bolster Ukraine's air defense. Earlier this week it was announced that Ukraine will soon receive 2 additional Patriot air defense systems, one from Israel (via USA ) and one from a combined German and Greek effort. Yesterday it was announced that Germany will transfer 100 additional PAC-2/3 Patriot Air Defense Missiles. Today's announcement from Britain will further strengthen Ukraine's capabilities. Britain builds large quantities of ASRAAM missiles and when used with Raven system they make an effective SHORAD system.

Betting on economic collapse to trigger regime change in a nuclear-armed state with a history of enduring brutal conditions (Tsarist famines, Soviet purges, 1990s chaos) might be a risky fantasy, not a strategy.

I think that the West’s biggest mistake is their fear to let Russia collapse and turn into “Mad Max”. This should be the objective, not the scenario they try to avoid.

I mean, if I were to choose an endgame scenario to my liking, it would be exactly what you described. Russia eating itself apart, turning into small warlord-run nations fighting among each other. Instead of being a powerful state that is attacking Europe, it would just be a conflict-ridden wasteland that sells its resources for cheap on the black market, so that local warlords can enjoy small luxuries and pay their mercenaries that are busy fighting the neighboring warlord.

As for thier nuclear arsenal? Who cares? Just let it rot without proper maintenance until it becomes useless. There would still be a Muskovia keeping the arsenal safe, just like Russia did after the collapse of the Soviet Union, but a Muskovia without much oil and gas, and without a big population to use as cannon fodder, it would be teethless.

It really bothers me that Europeans and Americans are concerned about Russia collapsing, after what they did. The collapse of Russia should be the objective.

If Ukrainians want to settle for peace, I support them, because they are doing the heavy lifting and the burden of deaths is on them. But if they are willing to go on fighting, it is the duty of the West to support them with money and weapons for as long as they are willing to fight, as they are doing everyone a big service.

Since Ukraine seems willing to fight and doesn’t want to give up on its lost territories, we should help them as much as possible in order to destroy Russia. We might not get a better opportunity than this one.

- due to US presidential timidity

- due to US policy changing to deny Ukraine decisive weapons (in order to extend the war, thus increasing Russian attrition losses)

Obviously would be good for the nation Russia is currently attacking. And would be good for all other nations Russia would otherwise attack in the future.

Unfortunately Russia is a country in which nationalism runs strongly through its citizens. When it attacks another nation, the Russian people support the government's action, however unjustifiable it may be.
