Ukrainian and United States special operations forces Soldiers conduct static-line and free-fall training as part of a multinational exercise that includes the efforts of ten allied and partner nations.
Ukrainian and U.S. SOF started exercise Fiction Urchin this week.
The U.S. Air Force MC-130J Commando II and CV-22 Osprey, assigned to the 352d Special Operations Wing, U.K. deployed to Ukraine to demonstrate a commitment to the Black Sea region, support the Ukraine SOF and AF capabilities and strengthen partner-nation relationships.

U.S. Army Special Forces operators and Ukraine Special Operations Forces operators conducted military free fall operations from a U.S. Air Force CV-22 Osprey.
Also U.S. Air Force CV-22 Ospreys assigned to the 352d Special Operations Wing, Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, conducted a fast rope insertion and extraction system training with Ukraine Special Operations Forces and U.S. Army Special Forces near Berdychiv, Ukraine, September 20, 2020.
The exercise Fiction Urchin focused on the U.S.-Ukraine relationship while emphasizing joint force interoperability during the Ukraine SOF qualification course.
