Ukrainian satellite Sich sent to the USA
The plane with a satellite on board took off from Boryspil to Budapest, and on December 12 it is due to arrive in the United States.
on December 8, a Turkish Airlines cargo plane with the Ukrainian space satellite Sich-2-30 on board took off from Boryspil airport. The press service of the Boryspil airport reports.
"Today at 11:27 am, a Turkish Airlines cargo plane with the Ukrainian Sich-2-30 spacecraft on board took off from Boryspil International Airport," the message says.
The SICH-2-30 satellite was developed and manufactured by the Yuzhnoye design bureau named after M.K. Yangel.
The plane took off for Budapest, on December 12, it is due to arrive at Miami International Airport in the United States.
The satellite will be flown to Kennedy Space Center for launch preparation and docking with SpaceX's Falcon 9 launch vehicle.
The launch of the Ukrainian satellite is scheduled for January 10, 2022.
