I just realized that MPF / Griffin 2 is menungging, opposed to our Harimau which is mendongak. The engineers would have reduced the space between the roadweels (and by doing so increase the space on the other end) to balance them, in case of MPF it's the front roadwheels (because it's front-heavy), for Harimau it's the back roadwheels (because it's back-heavy). Historical tanks such as T-34 and T-55 did this.

The weapons are ‘owned by him’, at least the words in official paper. But very possible the weapons ‘kebetulan’ him now and gonna flow to the OPM (wrote it as single entity eventhough maybe more than one group exist out there with their own interests).

And he was captured in Southern Mindanao btw. What he did right there? General Santos (and/or around it) is known to be the city where the pelabuhan-pelabuhan tikus are

OOT. I think Philippines was very good at made their MNLF and MILF to at least not active now, eventhough some dissidents still active/fight against the country. Even Nur Misuari kind of helping the government now to fight against IS there, including the pembebasan of Indonesian that IS captured for ransom back then.

There are some rumors being circulated in the so-called "defense forum community"

That is, "loan for weapon procurement will be redirected for new capital city construction", plus there are some jokes and sindiran, or even the abominable term "bantingan" thrown around due to this rumor.

My opinion is, this rumor is absurd.

Budget is not like your wallet, you cannot think of it as if they can easily redirect the money, just like when someone redirect his money to buy Mixue Ice Cream instead of a BigMac.

Government loan is also not like as if you are borrowing money from your friend straight out of their pocket. No, it involves many parties, and rules, often loan can only be used for specific things only.

If someone say weapon procurement budget/ loan is redirected for IKN, then they don't have any idea how budgeting work. It is extremely difficult to do that, everyone involved have to change everything just for that to work, which will be longer than the actual contract for procurement/ construction. That's not even considering the exact budget appropriation and bureaucracy needed to make it happen.

We should dismiss "rumor" if there is no solid source to back it, this includes the late rumor about "Mirage replace Rafale", or any sensational rumor that exploit FUD (fear, uncertainty, doubt).

What an Indonesian thing to do to spread rumor AKA gossip, and to feel superior by calling himself "senior" or "suhu" yet their only purpose is to be cynical and spreading rumors. There is no seniority in forum, stupid is stupid, smart is smart, right is right, wrong is wrong, no matter how "senior" that person is.

Good Friday Agreement also good example. Based handsome, well spoken, and good policies Tony Blair lol, even David Cameron of Conservative Party praised him before he ended his premiership.

As an example, previous loan budget for Su35 deals. They need a lot of procedure for clearence to utilizing the budget in which had been released and if in the end they feel the program is not working anymore and they don't need to use the available budget anymore they need another proposal and argument why they need to abort the projects, and if they can use the available budget for another similar program they need another proposal and request argument.

And other thing is PSP from MoF also need considering the loan agreement with consortium partner for financing the program (foreign partner or local partner) before they can be released. This need MoU and other agreement beforehand.

I don't see financing institution which is working and has experience in arms deals financing willing to be a partner in construction projects 🤣🤣🤣

This was happened before during the height of the pandemic. The contracts were already exist, but eventually the budget need to be moved for government pandemic policies, so the contracts amended.

Edit: Ini waktu refocusing anggaran pas pandemi tahun-tahun lalu.

The right term is realocated not earmarked, sorry wrong there, already deleted that.
