Whoaaaaa......!

What kind of Radar did 🇷🇺 use to detect F 35 ?

Well , russian were well known for brute forced everything they could ever get hands on ...
Amped up enough microwave length there you have an adequate yet expensive solution to counter a " stealth " object ... Effective ...?? No one knows for sure here ...

Stealth is not INVISIBLE but reduced visibility of object in radar, they could detect it in not-too-far range

I think it's best to describe F 35 pilot got "Ketar Ketir Moment", well you know its multi millon computer must face multi million dogfight master.

I must admit the SU30 radar still adequate to detect F35 (Terms & connditions are applied). When the F35 lose it's steathty factor, it will be in doom.

Or the F35 intentionally let itself get detected by radar, after all its not a combat mission more like the F35 tried testing the water thus there is no need to show its true stealth capability.

Too early to tell in this so early of the game . But , surely it paint a bad reps for the F 35 marketing team .

And by that statement you had backed my point . Amped enough power ... The RCS return signal get more cleared ( i don't know how they do it but obviously they manage to do so ) . It's brute force mode yet the Russian seem doesn't mind or even gambling with it ...
To be able closing in and detect the F 35 in whatever mode they are flying in was allready a tell tale sign the Russsian aren't out of the game as yet ..
The question we should ask is .... Wether the chinese have the same method or capabilities as the bears ??

It won't be a bad reps for F35 if it really let itself got detected by radar, you know like carrying radar reflector such as luneburg lenses aboard or just carry the good old stuff externally like missiles or weapons pylons to increase RCS.

Those small bulge near the vertical stabilizer (luneburg lenses) will help increase RCS.

I think there is F22 on intercept duty carrying missiles externally probably to increase RCS, there is no need to go full stealth unless its in combat mission IMO.

Second, the US and Indonesia should partner in rebuilding and diversifying global supply chains. The global health crisis caused severe disruptions across many sectors and exposed the vulnerabilities of relying excessively on a select few countries. As the world slowly recovers from the pandemic, the US should work closely with trusted partners such as Indonesia to secure our supply chains and prevent them from being potentially used as leverage.
Ivest more in Indonesia then.

Fourth, our countries should further our cooperation in the maritime space in defense of Indonesia’s sovereignty near the Natuna Islands and our collective rights to freedom of navigation in the South China Sea.
Now that's interesting.

Cooperation in defense of Indonesia's sovereignty near Natuna, such as...?

Will they dispatch their warship and support our cause?
Without any defence treaty but with good communication and cooperation it won't cause much ruckus internally (anti military alliance can't say much because it is not an alliance) yet deterrence effects can be achieved and can keep "that one country" in check.
But will US still ask about using our AFB to operates P-8 like the last time?
