mungkin malahan jadi lebih agresif dia tu
Tiongkok pede banget ama kuantitas tentaranya, belum lagi bisa mobilisasi Anggota PKC jadi reserve, ditambah cheap and easy to mass-produce senjata ama surplus amunisi dah bikin mereka serasa preman pasar kelakuannya

South Korea maybe would trying to fighting the Nork first, nuclear deterrence will be important to keep the Nork from trying anything funny

Japan, their technical levels and advantage on maritime domain is so great there is hardly any real challenge toward their mainland islands, not to mention there is also very large US Naval base in Japan and area around Japan like Saipan and Marshall islands, if they got nuclear weapon they would take it for offensive purpose most likely

South Korea already possess overwhelming superiority in terms of conventional military power, if South Korea also have nuclear weapons then Nork don't have anything to balance the military power gap.

Trump once said that Japan should get their own nuclear weapons, so at least there is still a minority in the US that support nuclear armed Japan, and for nuclear armed Indonesia? .... close to none, probably.

Export value to grow 12.8% in 2023, minister projects

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Indonesian government is expecting the value of exports to grow by 12.8 percent in 2023, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, informed at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Wednesday.

The figure is indeed small compared to 2022, when export growth reached 29.8 percent, but Hartarto said that the projection has been made with the assumption of an already high base value.

"We project that this year's export growth will slow down compared to last year because the base has increased," he informed in a press statement after attending a limited meeting on exports and investment chaired by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

According to Hartarto, imports are projected to increase by 14.9 percent in 2023 after growing 29.4 percent in 2022.

The minister later explained that the slowdown cannot be separated from observations of developments in the global economy, which has been projected to decline.

"Some economic growth will also improve, especially in China and Indonesia are also projected to be positive," he added.

Hartarto disclosed that Indonesia’s economy has been deemed resilient because the nation’s dependence on exports is relatively low, contributing less than 50 percent.

Indonesia's export contribution to economic growth is 45 percent, slightly lower than that of Japan (47 percent), but higher than that of Brazil (40 percent), China (39 percent), and the United States (28 percent).

At the same time, export dependence below 50 percent shows that Indonesia is included in the ranks of countries with a strong domestic market.

A slowdown has also been projected in Indonesia's trade growth, which reached 3.5 percent in 2022 and is estimated to be only 1 percent in 2023.

Hartarto said that the value of Indonesia's exports increased significantly to US$268 billion in 2022 on the back of at least three main supporting commodities—iron and steel, fossil energy, and crude palm oil (CPO), which posted a positive trade balance.

"Even coal can compensate for oil imports, so that our trade balance in the energy sector was positive by reaching US$6.8 billion year to date, iron and steel with US$29 billion, and CPO was around US$30 billion," he informed.

Meanwhile, in terms of exports, traditional countries still had the highest market share. As of November 2022, China contributed US$57.7 billion, followed by the United States with US$26.1 billion, India with US$21.6 billion, and Japan with US$21.1 billion.

C Java governor seeks stronger monitoring of basic commodity prices

I ask all to observe, monitor, and input daily prices, and to be even more diligent in visiting markets.
Grobogan, Central Java (ANTARA) - Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo has asked all city and district government stakeholders to strengthen the monitoring of the prices of basic commodities in markets in order to curb inflation in the province.

"I ask all to observe, monitor, and input daily prices, and to be even more diligent in visiting markets," he said during a working visit here on Friday.

He asked all parties to strengthen monitoring of the daily prices of basic commodities through the SiHati application.

Pranowo said that each city or district government should immediately seek alternatives if they detect several food commodities, especially those whose prices are volatile, whose supplies could potentially be disrupted or which are likely to cause inflation.

The alternatives could be obtained by cooperating with regions closest to Central Java, such as East Java and West Java.

He further said that cooperation with other regions was one of the alternatives for jointly curbing inflation.

"We can do this together because several commodities are also sent to Kalimantan. There are some that are sent to Sumatra. This is what we are trying to continuously monitor. The SiHati application can be used for daily monitoring," he added.

Pranowo also urged the inflation control team to be more diligent and disciplined in monitoring prices in markets and uploading data in real-time to the application saying they had missed mapping the prices of commodities in markets several times.

He gave the example of the price of cooking oil in markets some time ago, which had gone up, but after checking, it turned out that there had been some delays.

As of December 2022, Central Java's inflation was recorded at 5.63 percent, or higher than the national inflation rate of 5.5 percent.

The figure placed Central Java as the fourth region with the highest inflation after East Java, Yogyakarta, and West Java.

that's why build more infrastructure to ease the transport of commodities and services, toll roads, railway system is part of it, there is also several local law who doesn't friendly enough for investment in logistic services especially based on mobile apps, as we already know there is several central java regency leader who disagree with building more infrastructure especially toll roads in their region, that's one big homework for pakde uban.
