They don't get much love and aren't really talked about compared to the Centurion and Russian tanks of the same era. So I was wondering if they were bad tanks compared to the British and Russian designs?

Okay then. But they never get mentioned, out of all the American tanks, they are basically forgotten.

Err no, they don't get much limelight because they don't have obvious weakness compared to their peer. But for the same reason they don't get much limelight because the advantage to use them compared to their peer is not much, and it would boil down to the tactic, air support and training the country army as the user. Israel and Jordania is the same user of M48 Patton with quite different results for both sides, the Pakistan Army had their own glorious time and utter defeat with the same Tanks against Indian Army Tanks fleets.

M60-2000

M60 tank modernised with a Abrams Turret. Usa planned on selling this tank to Turkey before Turkey chose the M60 Sabra upgrade from Israel.

Dont know why I feel like we should have chosen this. Looks really good.
