Those OPVs will be expensive, especially in that configuration, I don't know how we can produce 10 of them. Note that we will also be constructing İstif class and we will probably put TF-2000 on the keel. The calendar of those projects is intersecting. Money doesn't grow on the tree. I'm afraid we have to cut some projects. Let's wait and see.
Not actually, those OPVs are meant to be constructed with ease in a fast-schedule. 10 of those will cost as much as 3 I-Class, or even less.

Or like Arap poor dictator egypt that buy weapons from everywhere ? i said before Turkey will build more than 16 I-class frigates and more than 9-11 Tf 2000 destroyers ready to fight same time italy-grecce- egypt-israel

When Roketsan unveils the NLOS missile, I think that all UMTAS-L missiles integrated/to be integrated into naval platforms will be replaced with this missile.

I guess so. If I were the captain of the ship I would like to hit any vessel up to horizon range with such a missile.

Electric addition to the propulsion mix brings the ship up to 24 knots I guess.
That's not far less than 29 knots of the turbine sporting Milgem.

Would it be the first ship of its kind in Surface Fleet with electric-diesel propulsion?
CODLAG CODELAG CODELOG CODOE slap any combination you want :)
It was in use before and some even used on some warships but recently getting more attention.

CODELOD can also be referred as CODOE since one does not expect a sustainable pure electric propulsion on a warship.

2 large diesel engines to run the vessel at maximum speed
2 medium diesel engines to run the vessel at the economic speed, this was particularly chosen because CODOD/CODAG was not possible (required heavy modification and space constraints).
However i think it is still whether it will be "OR" or "AND"

PS. If you are referring to the TN, then TCG Anadolu may be first after the MCMWs.

For me Gökdeniz ER and LEVENT are the new stars of IDEF.

I'm looking forward to hearing about Gökdeniz ER

Will Gokdeniz-ER be launcher option for Levent or Aselsan developing it's own missile alternative along with launcher. 11 large slots. Aselsan developing long range RAM missile? If true. Could be pretty interesting.

DzKK (partially SSB if funding) will decide it, they may end up with a consortium similar to the Hisar SAM since the aim is actually challenging as much, which is the logical way. I don't think there will be an actual tender to let those companies (SAGE-Roketsan-Aselsan) to compete. the whom may submit their concepts, are just taking the opportunity at IDEF.

Tubitak SAGE is developing the missile and the rest if ASELSAN. On the other side Roketsan is competing against TUBITAK :D ...

I love it.
