Why so suprised ?!
Did u think Turkey to stay with 4x milgem and 4x i Class like denmark that has 0 problem with anyone ?! While small tiny country like Israel have 8+ frigates ? Or like Arap poor dictator egypt that buy weapons from everywhere ? i said before Turkey will build more than 16 I-class frigates and more than 9-11 Tf 2000 destroyers ready to fight same time italy-grecce- egypt-israel
What i said is becaming reality 😅🤣🇹🇷💪🇹🇷
No CIWS on the top of the bridge though :)
Next time ;).

Korean CIWS II with modern radar

lig-nex1-to-introduce-new-close-in-weapon-system-for-republic-of-korea-navy-ships.jpg
The vertical architecture of Phalanx has long been obsolote since the rise of Aesa radars.
And i have my concerns on fixed aesa configuration on a moving/rotating gun foundation.
It is better to place the aesa for CIWS on else where ( to provide constant 360 degrees monitoring with back up ie. with a distributed architecture around the ship) , and place an aesa based tracking radar on ciws that ,in dual mode, can track and search an assigned sector.

I hope we don't go for second LHD any time soon. I rather would have the resources used for finishing Milgem projects and most importantly Milden.

TF100 is only existing in name, it could possible be a more advanced I-class mod2 (as it is to replace the Barbaros class)

@Anmdt
My flotilla expectation would be rather like this, by 2035.
4 TD-2000 + USV (ultimate goal and need)
6 TF-100 +USV (replacement for Gabya)
4 I-Class (replacement for Yavuz)
4 Ada Class -enhanced
10 OPV - mixed configuration + USV (Replacement for Burak class)
16 YTKB - enhanced + USV
6/7 FAC+ (a new class)
14 FAC (replacement of old FAC classes)
2 DIMDEG (replacement for old RAS)
4 LSS (replacement for old L + introduced new)
4 LST
TCG Anadolu
TCG Trakya (probably without a well deck which is converted to maintenance bay)

I have listed the total production units as the general target, bro, so I wrote Tf2000 as 4+4 but it is a very good list for the year 2035. In addition to 10 FACs (you wrote 14 FAC), new type of 6/7 FAC+ is a information or expectation bro? Btw, 6 Tf100 is logical number since Turkish fleet need expansion.

For now it is my expectation bro, doğan + rüzgar + yıldız class have 10 hull in total which will retire soon (or some already did).
Kılıç I & II class have 9, first 3 is going to retire by 2035 so i have thought of a replacement. in the following form, 6 large FAC with 45 knots top speed, 14+ medium FAC with 60 knots top speed to replace entire of the FAC classes. We can not verify this for now but i feel it will conclude this way.

MPAC is a seperate design that STM has recently started working on without a demand from SSB. It mainly intended to be modular and provide a more cost effective alternative to FAC55

Cost effective alternative to fac55? Who says it? What makes it cost effective ?
Fac55 was not displayed in there either, and why?

Would equipping some of our vessels with loitering ammo be beneficial ? E.g. Opv of lower tonnage. Granted the ammo has decent range
It is good because they are not very visible but they move slowly. I am also wondering about the current concept and the tradeoff between visibility, speed, recovery and the ability to loiter and conduct reconnaissance.
