The Taliban Air Force - An Inventory Assessment
I think only 12 Russian made Mil helicopters could be maintained by other neighboring countries not hostile to the Taliban. That is if the Taliban actually wants an air force and find the necessary funds to do so.
The rest (Blackhawks, MD530, Tucano ) would likely be scrapped, at least they'll get money out of those scraps. The US ain't gonna provide the spares and contractors.

Yup, again it's up for the new administration if they're willing to revive these planes.
I mean if they have the will, and consider that some countries actually helped them.
For example in the 90s, supposed Pakistan engineer helped them to maintain some of Ariana airline fleet of Boeing 737.
Consider that L-39 Albatross operate the same engine as Pakistani K-8s , we could see those repetition of the 90s.
But again, it's up to the new IEA govt. For me, it's going to be more dangerous to the user than any of their neighbors.
