type 210 100mm / licensed reverse engineered french Canon de 100mm, if only those swedish Bofors TAK-120 still on production, we could try to equip our coast guard with such cannon, they rather have very fast ROF for an old cannon.

i was actually trying to emphasizing on "reverse engineered" part, i mean even such old technology still can pave the way for our future naval cannon core technology dependency, just like how chinese does with the french canon de 100mm that now turning into locally produced H/PJ-87 , im only guessing that even buying bulk of 76mm otomelara would give us a ToT chance almost slim to none .Better to use good ol 76 mm Oto Melara gun for simply logistic problem and bigger caliber should be on 127 mm Naval gun
We'll need it tho, if we want to armed those 16 frigates.buying bulk of 76mm otomelara
Some of those need to be 127mm instead. We'll need it tho, if we want to armed those 16 frigates.
My guess is the later. How could they offer us arrow140/type 31 as dedicated AAW frigatethis offers is for ongoing Iver program or 30ffm competitor
Hoping soon to be FREMM-ID equipped with vulcano 127those need to be 127mm
So this offers is for ongoing Iver program or 30ffm competitor?
If it's for current Iver Huitfeldt program, it's gonna contradict his own Twit.
*First major customer.30FFM has more chance, it has more backup from economics to a political standpoint. From the Japanese perspective, as the first post-WW2 Japanese defense product foreign customer, Indonesia could be the gate opener for more customers. Even if Indonesia only buys a few of them,
And Korean LPD.just like the Korean T-50 Jet trainer, other countries follow to buy them.
