Now, when we go to war with Greece, we will also be at war with France.
Is there any difference from today?
All mayor EU countries will always support greek politically and economically, when it comes to Turkey irrelevant of reason or background.
Militarily, they will "support" the greeks by selling them expensive weapons like this deal but hardly any real fighting support during a real war. Keep in mind that the French could not even sustain a war for a few weeks against Qaddafi without American logistics.
The only big difference would have been if Greek got unconditional American support, which they most likely will get during a conflict anyway. Everything else Geece does is irrelevant since they have absolute zero to gain but only to loose some island in a war with Turkey.
Any way, these ships are pretty useless in a war with Turkey since they would not be able operate closer than 500km from Turkish coast.
The same apply for large Turkish ships close to the Greek main land. The air-force for each country would operate mainly close the their respective main land. The only difference will be Turkish air-force/drones/artillery/.. operating over one or two islands close to the Turkish coast. Anything else is unrealistic at this point for the next 20-30 years.
A better use for the greeks would have been 3-5 corvettes for 1.5B€ and the rest spent on F35.
