we will also be at war with France
Doubt it. They will help with delivery of weapons and diplomatic and political support.

There is nothing greece can do. Gap is too large with TUrkey.

By 2030 TN will have 4 Gabya, 4 Barbaros, 4 Ada, 4 Istif and at least 4-6 Ada OPV. At least 20-22 frigates and 14 subs.

So we'll have the upper hand?

Not only ships but uav/usv with medium range anti ship missiles or kamikaze drones.

Now, when we go to war with Greece, we will also be at war with France.
Is there any difference from today?

All mayor EU countries will always support greek politically and economically, when it comes to Turkey irrelevant of reason or background.
Militarily, they will "support" the greeks by selling them expensive weapons like this deal but hardly any real fighting support during a real war. Keep in mind that the French could not even sustain a war for a few weeks against Qaddafi without American logistics.

The only big difference would have been if Greek got unconditional American support, which they most likely will get during a conflict anyway. Everything else Geece does is irrelevant since they have absolute zero to gain but only to loose some island in a war with Turkey.

Any way, these ships are pretty useless in a war with Turkey since they would not be able operate closer than 500km from Turkish coast.
The same apply for large Turkish ships close to the Greek main land. The air-force for each country would operate mainly close the their respective main land. The only difference will be Turkish air-force/drones/artillery/.. operating over one or two islands close to the Turkish coast. Anything else is unrealistic at this point for the next 20-30 years.

A better use for the greeks would have been 3-5 corvettes for 1.5B€ and the rest spent on F35.

Greece Prepares to Buy 6 Ships from France
5 billion euros for three frigates and three corvettes

It is also claimed that Athens and Paris will sign a defense agreement in addition to the 5 billion euro ship deal.

Under the "Mutual Defense Pact", when one of the parties is attacked, the other will rush to help.

Now, when we go to war with Greece, we will also be at war with France.
Nope Greece likes to show it like that but it is an aid agreement for example if Greece gets into war hardware from the French military might be delivered to Greece as aid. Greece doesn't have enough ammo, smart bombs, rockets, missiles, or anything to sustain a long war. This is their number one weakness. Number two is their lack of strategic depth and close proximity. For example, if Iran was in place of Turkey. Iran would have been the winner of the war albeit with a weaker airforce. The farthest Greek airport is 500km away from the Turkish mainland. You can't hide runways, hangars, runways, air-traffic towers, ground services, etc. Without those, no airforce can operate.

By the way schedule for the arrival of the first ship is postponed to 2025. By that time we won't have any problems at the sea or in the air. Those Belharras will be welcomed by supersonic anti-ship missiles.

Why are ppl surprised?
Even without the deal, I knew that if Turkey went to war with Greece, France will obviously be involved

France has too many shit rn that its global influence is decreasing and Turkey is replacing such influence by rapid pace using their Ottoman heritage as well as the fact they werent as cruel as france during the colonial times in Africa which makes ppl like Turkey was more easily
France needs time to re-arrange their cards
So what is France thinking? Same as US! Just prep Greece to encage Turkey and be as canoon fodder against Turkey so that even if Turkey wins, it will still be damaged and easier to break even if Greece fell (not that the EU actually cares about Greece in the first place)

Honestly i dont see Turks and Greeks living in peace.

Only way to remedy our problems is war.

Maybe im acting like a warhawk. But thats the only thing I see.

What is taken from you by force, will always be only retrieved by force

Just like how Armenia took Azeri lands unjustly, the same scenario is happening with Greece and Turkey

We need a solid economy first. With a solid evonomy you can build 2 Ada and 1 Istif every 2-3 years. Greece will try to catch up. And their economy will go down the drain even further.

With a solid economy we can even build electrip subs just because we have money we can waste...

My point is yurtta sulh cihanda sulh.

Right now we’re struggling and the people are suffering.

Make a refugee highway like Iran and they’ll do the rest for free

Belharras won't have decoy launchers, ECM, and will have 16x VLS also no A70 VLS for MCdN cruise missiles.

This is stupid discion from greeks. 6 new frigates to replace 13 old frigates without modular vls.

Greece needs antiship missiles batteries on agean islands and SAM systems too. They need to have taiwan doctrine and iran doctrine in persian gulf. Instead they buy giant targets for TN and airforce to shoot at.

Best they spend money of FAC that operate under SAM and CAP umbrella with MICA, Patriot, Rafale with meteor.
