This is going to push Azerbaijan into the Sunni Fold even more.

Hahahaha

Good job Tyreheads, we are closer to connecting the Turkic World and Iran is making the job even easier for us.

Ethnic problems all got solved in Turkey as the Ottoman Empire collapsed.

The day of multicultural empires collapsed and the aftermath was a tragedy.

But why should the Turks accept being killed off? There is no such thing as suffering peacefully.

Also I think Kurds prefer living in Turkey rather than Iraq, Syria or Iran thats for sure.
Even basic food supplies are coming from turkey in N.Iraq If It wasn't for us they would have been dying hospitals, bakeries everything is turkish in that region they are our puppets

Raisi seems eager for war
If you ask me no offense to Iranians but Raisi is out of his mind. From the beginning of his mandate his posture is overly aggressive and this will lead to nothing good for the region.

They are worried about the power which Azerbaijan and Turkey will get after the opening of Zangezur corridor and the possible Israeli assets that can be deployed in Azerbaijan against Iran due to the good Azerbaijan-Israel relations. This is not a brother behavior. They abused international law and Azerbaijani authority for decades for their business interests working with the Armenian occupation authority in Karabakh, sponsoring smuggling on the Azerbaijan-Iran border.

Yes there are many Azeris in Iran but nobody should keep high hope only because of that fact. Many of the Azeris there love Azerbaijan but also many of them are loyal to their country. And it is not like they wait impatiently to break off from Iran and declare independence. Anybody who contacted with Iranian Azeris can tell what the situation is actually. Turks usually tend to act emotionally on religious and blood matters and call everybody brother just because he is from the same blood or religion but many times the reality on the ground is different and Turks are disappointed when they see the real situation. So my message is to not count on the separatism card as it is something easy or super beneficial to do so we don't get disappointed in the end. Another long conflict will not be beneficial to the region. The point that I want to make is that both Azerbaijani and Turkish authorities know this and it is ridiculous to think that they will start a conflict in Southern Azerbaijan tomorrow. Iran is certainly overreacting. Something like this is only possible after years even decades of preparations and propaganda. This is very complicated matter and not a work for one day or one week.

What tension, what escalation? So to liberate your own land that is yours according to the international law and also apply Azerbaijani authority in the liberated area is escalation? This regime with Raisi on top is out of its mind.
"This regime with Raisi on top is out of its mind." It was always that way.

Why you think that there is other way around?

Because Raisi will raise the level of madness and he is showing it from the first moment he got in office. With him on top things will escalate even further and Iran will act even more aggressive than the past few years.

In receiving the Azerbaijani ambassador in the country, the Iranian Foreign Minister said: "We see the imprisonment of 2 Iranian truck drivers as an unacceptable step. We will not wait patiently if there is a Zionist regime on our borders and it poses a threat to our security, but we will take the necessary steps.
