This footage shows Burmese workers going to the dining hall for lunch in a factory in a Chinese border city, For money, they all make a fraction of what Chinese workers make and they work long hours. 12-14 working hours a day, factory bosses like to hire them casuse they are hardworking and never complain, they are very content with the working condition and the money which are already several times better than what they can get in Myamar. China is surrounded by heavily populated low income countries to her south, geographically they are very close to China's manufacturing powerhouse Guangdong province, is it a easy and simply way to alleviate larbor shortage in south China?

These foreign workers might be covered by basic health insurance while they are working in their factories, but I don't think they'll get handsome pension and lifetime healthcare after they retire like what the Chinese government has to pay for every Chinese citizen, so it can save tremendous amount of money for the Chinese government to hire foreign workers.

Same is true to every country, Asian workers are found working in US and European sweat shops for decades. China at least provides decent working conditions for foreign workers.

Wrong, look at China's allies and you'll see lists of failed country, a type of country that China could readily and happily exploit.

Look at the US and it's lists if allies, most of them are not exploited, they prosper while being allies to the US , see Germany and Japan ?

Even ASEAN countries like mine Indonesia , benefitted more from China by not being allies with China.

China doesn't even have many so called allies, this is why China can develop this fast, besides, so called US allies are almost all centuries old industrialised and developed nations, they became developed and industrialised even before US became a country. On the other hand, China herself was one of the poorest countries on this planet barely 20 years ago, how can China help or "exploit‘’ any countries in such a short span of time?

Correct china only have a handful of allies : it's Right hand minus the thumb and frankly none of them are what you call prosperous.

Japan and Germany are all devastated back to the stone age after the war, yet thanks to the Marshall plan they got on their feet back, Japan and Germany would later be an exporter to the US market instead of merely getting flooded by foreign goods like many Chinese allies of today.

US had army station in Japan and Germany, it's basically called occupation, and those two countries still have the knowhow and large experienced skilled workforce after the war, the economy can easily recover cause the working people were still there. China doesn't have allies in US sense, we only have friendly relations with some countries but have no troops on any foreign lands and no say on any countries domestic policies and economic plans. China has friends, not allies in western sense.

Its not labor shortage, its bcs CN bosses don't wanna pay 1000 usd per month for CN workers while they only need to pay 300 usd per month for Burmese workers.

Thats why the unemployment rate in CN should be abt 25% to 30 % now.

I m an employer, it's hard to find anyone to work for you for any jobs with pay less than 10,000 Yuan ($1580)in Beijing, any deliverman can make more that, so it's becoming an unofficial bottomline, anything less than it is considered not work worthy. Your 25% to 30 % unemployment is totally bullshit. Have you ever been to China in recent year at all?

As u know, I always say CN is juts like Lybia when reaching GDP per captia of $10,000. CN and Lybia bosses don't wanna pay 1000 usd per month for CN/Lybia workers.

WHen Lybia GDP per captia was $10,000 in 2010, the unemployment rate in Lybia was abt 25% to 30 % , thats why Lybian got angry and we all knew what happend to Lybian leader Gaddafi.

It's hard to find anyone to work for you for any jobs with pay less than 10,000 Yuan ($1580)in Beijing bcs they only can work until 35 years old, so if they got a job, then of course they will ask for high salary...but they will go broke like Evergrande staff after bosses fire them when they are 35 year old

In China, 35+ and Female = Unemployable

Every afternoon, in the small courtyard outside the Machang Street Re-employment Center, small groups of laid-off workers anxiously scan the day's help-wanted listings. There is a sad sameness about this army of job hopefuls, each one dressed up, ready for an interview at any time: they are all women, all over 35 and all unskilled.

''At our factory everyone who was laid off was a woman,'' said Sun Jingqi, 41, a former textile worker. ''Look around you, everyone here is female,'' added Ms. Sun, who had put on heels and makeup and a smart red sweater outfit for yet another trip to check the board. ''Now what can we do? We're not young enough. We don't have experience.''

See, CN women can not get job after 35 since 1998. Till now, even CN men also face the same problem .
So, u can't deny unemployment rate in CN should be abt 25% to 30 %, same unemployment rate with Lybia before uprising ::cool:

Coronavirus leaves China’s over-35s with uncertain job prospects

  • Amid a tough job market, Chinese jobseekers above age 35 are feeling increasingly insecure about their future
  • Many firms are seen as favouring young and energetic graduates in China, where age discrimination is not illegal

For some Chinese workers, celebrating their 35th birthday is starting to feel like a curse.
Amid the frenzied competition for jobs stirred up by the economic impact of the pandemic, a growing number of employment ads are imposing age limits of 35 – leaving many Chinese nearing middle age feeling uncertain about their future.
Complaints about age discrimination in the job market – including for positions in the civil service – have flooded Chinese social platforms, and state media even have a name for the trend: the “age 35 phenomenon”.

Just don't talk nonsense like

1. " CN or US is the world economic power" while CN is not the regional power yet

2. CN labor shortage while actually CN bosses don't wanna pay 1000 usd per month for CN workers while they only need to pay 300 usd per month for Burmese workers.

3. Trolling abt gilrs when failed to deny that unemployment rate in CN should be abt 25% to 30 % now.

Why can't u just post abt what are trully happening in CN now ?? such as how can CN women find jobs after they are fired when reaching 35 years old ??
